My ancestors were rice traders who employed Japanese candles in their profession. I wonder how they would fare in today's markets? Our family is now in the sushi restaurant business with locations in both Japan and Germany. We buy rice, but don't trade it.

Trading futures is a hobby of mine. I currently play around with FESX and ES at the start of the Eurex session trading a single contract. I have modest profit goals since I don't have to rely on trading for my livelihood.

Are you continuing the family tradition and trading with Japanese candles?

Hello Mr. Castille,

I use candlesticks and other bar types but don't subscribe to the message within them.

Hi,

Konitchiwa! My wife is from Fukuoka and she trades along side me most days except when the kids (6 months and 3 years) are screaming.

I will PM you with her contact info as I am sure she would love to chat w/ a fellow trader from Japan.

Good luck and keep us posted on your Maki Rolls. In the States we enjoy Tamaki Sushi often.
