Here is yet another attempt to start a journal and stick with it for more than a handful of days. Big challenge for people with ADD. I'm mulling over whether to offer this on Collective2 to reduce the burden.
The system trades 2 contracts on FDAX, 6E, EMD, and CL during early session hours. The most recent backtests are from 1/01/10 to present. In some cases the results are worse than walk forward, which I find interesting.
Anything goes on this thread, so don't hold back or worry about insulting me. However, please try to stay on topic.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on futures io?

Your results look very good. Thanks for sharing them.
I'm not asking for you to give your secrets away but am curious what the rules are based on. Care to elaborate?

A simple SR breakout method. Nothing esoteric.

Ok, I am curious on your thinking of doing the journal. What benefit do you believe will come out of it, what are you trying to achieve? I doubt you are creating one to be abused by others or to give up your strategies. haha...
I have done a lot of mechanical testing and systems for forex or been involved with 100's. I don't recall ever seeing a journal from one of the mechanical guys.
Interested to see your concepts.
