I think you did well just because you stayed out of that chop. I'm glad I was done before that or I would be so chopped probably. I wish you got filled on your first trade.

I hope you and your kid get better soon!!!

Feel better soon

1000mg chewable Costco Vitamin C daily, I haven't gotten sick for over 11yrs except a 6 months of flu after taking a flu shot, never again.

Yes, good idea! I need something, my kids have been transferring unhealthiness to me! (BLAME)

It is really going around out here in Hawaii. I always get sick around October.

Glad when kids build up some immunities. Will give the vitamin C a shot as I just went to Costco yesterday! Thanks!

Still feeling a bit foggy from head cold. Pretty clear short after the open though and I got bounced surprisingly quite quick and then took the short again. I thought I was going to get knocked out again, which would have bummed me out. (first clue to stop trading!)

I managed my trade a little bit, but the 50% was my target and I wanted to squeeze a little bit more out of it. I was a bit less emotional today, but overall still not feeling the 'groove'. Pretty clear market for me today though, so happy about that. Ready to be done with sickness.

Daylight savings in 11 days!

A little emotional today out of the gates. My screen indicators were a bit messed up and I should have switched to my back-up screen which allows me to resize the MACDBB window. Because the move was so big last night the indicators were just smoothed out too much but didn't realize that till after the fact.

Lesson learned.

Woke up at 4am today which is a little earlier than usual. I guess I am getting excited for the live market open at 4:30am coming soon. Sent money today (very small amount) just to keep my account active at AMP and still playing with the CQG data-feed.

I didn't have the vision for the short today. I was thinking a bit more up before it hits a major area and then short. I guess not. haha...

My trades were cautious as I knew I was going against the trend, so I stayed cautious. I didn't think the short would be that 'long' and decided I would just wait for the long setup. I actually don't know if it ever came.. haha...

45 day trading average = 1.0 (Goal = 2.0, before I go live)
45 day avg. drawdown = 1.84 (Goal < 1.5, before I go live)

Still struggling to hold trades and not move stops. Very cautious today for some reason.

Just took a look at the live market. My vision was correct! It just had a little bit of a retrace first.

Kids kept me up most of the night. Too tired to get up at a decent time, so I just watched the market. It was nice and clean today. I noticed that there was no 'intensity' to my emotions and I was 'free' to think without being wrong and the charts seemed easier to read maybe because of it.

Well, I KNEW I shouldn't have traded. YES, SHOULDN'T, and I even said in my little voice, STOP Trading after the first 3 trades I made this morning. Funny how that goes right?

Well, working on a little more than 4 hours sleep for about a week now (kid will not sleep) and I am also trying to prepare myself for the early market live coming next week. So... Excuses excuses. I didn't listen to my little angel on my shoulder and instead heard the little devil (ala Bugs Bunny).

I was totally muddy and you can see that from the trades I took (yup, all 22).

I am not upset except for some really dumb trades on my part. The big mistake today (besides moving my stop) was not letting the 'foot' on the 1597 play out. Due to the way the 987 looked, I thought for sure it was faking me out and we had yet to hit a major area going short, so..... I was looking for counter trend trades long, and trend trades short (hold them). Well, after looking at today's price action....

all-n-all, I deserve this day by not listening to myself to not trade. Tonight I go to bed at a decent hour (9pm!) and get up at 4am and wait for market replay. I need some rest as the last 10 days or so have my head in a complete and utter FOG....... I am exhausted... Need break from kids... haha....

Had fun watching them enjoy a pre-Halloween though. I guess it is all worth it. haha...

Oh, ok, this is what I didn't do well today:

1. Before entering trade, have a clear TP.
2. Moved my stops!
3. Didn't let my TP play out on my last trade!
4. Stop trading when I told myself to.

Today was a bad day of gambling and hoping.

My overall profit for the last 7 weeks has been pretty flat. This is part of the process and until I get it through my head to trade the way I have set up the rules then I will continue to be 'flat'.

Due to my 3 day STEP if my profit is lower than it was 3 days ago, then I am SIM until I am back above. This keeps me out of poor trading streaks. Tomorrow is SIM SIM!
