I leave it down so you don't hear every snort I make... haha....
Plus I have kids sleeping. Sorry it isn't loud enough, but I don't think my voice is worth listening to anyways...haha...
Anyways, your welcome. I was just showing you one example of a setup and I am testing a 'few' at the moment and feeling things out. There are roughly 5 systems with nuances that I study at any one time and throw one out, put another in etc.. Then I go back-n-forth between sim-forward and backtesting, visual backtesting, live-forward etc... Haven't had the energy to do any live-forward since I went SIM a year ago from poor performance on my part...
I was thinking about you madLyfe the other day and I think that if you get time, you could read the book "High Probability Trading" which was a recommendation from Forestang earlier when I one the contest with everyone else.
Great book in a way, and I wish I would have read it when I started... Seems like a smart guy....

This is a list of expectations that I have put upon myself...
I will be profitable within x number of years, months, days, etc...
I will be profitable today...
I will not make any gifts today...
I will fail today...
I will never be a good trader...
I am following a system that doesn't work...
I will be the top 1%...
I can make a few gifts today so don't worry...
I will be live soon...
I can do this, I can do this...
etc..
etc..
All just rubbish. Doesn't matter does it...

Dude, here you go and I help this explains it. I think you could use this on smaller timeframes no problemo, but most of my testing is 1HR and above. Just an example of one of the many ways to make money or to lose it. :) haha...
This …
dont believe anything you hear and only half of what you see

Well, after watching Horst's video and him reminding me of FOMC then I decided I would 'probably' not trade. Then, after my wife watched his vid, she asked what FOMC was... haha...
She said, "Don't even watch the market, just sleep in because you will want to trade it if you are just watching it".
She was right, I probably would have... Glad I slept in as it was a mess! Nice short after a while, but I most likely would have not been trading. Now, I remember why I don't trade these days...
Hard for me not to trade a day when the market is open. Part of the 'I don't want to miss out' disease...

It is funny. Now, I have a hard time sleeping past 5am... Used to being VERY AWAKE at that time!
I have always been an early riser but I would run or swim @ 5am and that is great. Now I have to do that later, but so goes life..
Things are getting slow here for other work... However, come January, it is going to be an extremely busy year. I am buying another 20+ houses for rentals in the mainland, building out a 25 unit subdivision, rehabbing a large home for resale, preliminary stages of doing a high-rise 30+ story residential tower, and have 2 kids with wife, workout regime, AND TRADING....
Wow... I am going to have to get back to my old Frog Eating Habits...
