today was a losing day! i know i cannot believe it myself but i was very distracted not a good time to trade and I thought today was the fed day so i reduced risk at a bad time thining the fed rate announcement was at 2 pm. dumnb of me not to know. shows laziness!
not a huge losing day but a prety good swing considering i was up 2500 around lunch then down 2170 at the close
you can see my very last 3 longs winners but not enough to get me posi for the day.
at one point today i was down 6 grand overall on the account but that included
a trade in the sp500 a 3 lot and 3 natural gas positions.
still holding natty at 219.5
no day is easy but today wasnt really all that difficult and maybe thats why i screwed up it was all me just clicking away
quick look at this chart you can see i did pretty good buying the dip btfd but i did a terrible job managing my profits on that bottom buy and you can see how quickly I exited all those winning lots right by each other almost all immediaate and then the mkt rallies and i did not uy back in or hold the winners long enough obviously the sam ehuman things you do wrong all the time too
my worst trade was around 11.30 where i shorted which i dont like doing too much and i did quite a feww quikly and then had to exit due to losses accumulating quickly
ere is a blow up of how quickly nad trades that are too big can quickly blow out a nice relaxed winnign day
i was shorting into this..cut some losses..then re shorted and held held held to the losers..
now if you can fo this with winners..difficult and exit losers fast you can crush it but i still find the mkt not allowing me to do that very often
