I did not trade yesterday because I had some personal business to attend to. And honestly I am glad I was able to get a small break after losing BIGLY on Tuesday.

But today I made $637 on ES today. I stuck to my plan of not taking the first trade until 10am and that worked for me today. While I was waiting I was making trades on SIM and I loss every one due to choppiness and sideways trading. I think the times I won close to the open was mostly luck because it's impossible to see a setup that early anyway.

Things I did right:

1. Waited until 10am to trade.
2. I reduced the number of lots and traded smaller to reduce my risk.

Things I did wring:

1. Entered almost exactly at 10am. In doing so I loss the first trade and had to trade 2 more times to get the money back. I just need to wait for the setup before I take the first trade.

I only had an hour to trade on Friday, 9/23 and I lost. I was rushing, impatient and shouldn't have traded knowing that I didn't have my usual amount of time which led me to not being able to focus.

I had to reset my account today (9/26). Then I made $975 on ES after winning $1000, getting greedy and taking another trade, then another, then another, then another to get my money back. I rarely trade again after making my daily profit and that is exactly why.

Things I did right:

1. I didn't let my trades go all the way to my stop. And some I closed in profit (even though it didn't hit my target) and entered a second trade.

Things I did wrong:

1. Got greedy after winning the first trade pretty easily.

My billing cycle started over and I reset my account so now I have 20 days to make the profit target. Hopefully I will adhere to my lessons and make this the last time I do this evaluation.

I live to trade another day!

I made $1850 on ES today by accident. I made my usual target but I had 10 contracts on there when I usually have 5! I doubled my contracts yesterday to make up for my deficit and forgot to change it back. I am happy it worked out in my favor but it could have easily went the other way.

Things I did right:

1. I was patient and entered when my setups were there.

Things I did wrong:

1. Had way too many contracts and was open to too much risk. That is a reminder to make sure you check to see if you have the appropriate lot size for your trade.

I live to trade another day!

I made $1125 on ES today. I lost the first trade by being too early (I was in the right direction) and then I took 3 more trades to get my money back. That is far lower than my usual 10+ trades I take when I lose. So I am getting better at being patient and waiting for the next setup before I trade again.

Things I did right:

1. Even though I lost the first trade I was patient when entering subsequent trades. I also doubled up on my contracts (I am still not sure if that's good or bad).

Things I did wrong:

1. Cut my trade because I was losing but I don't think it would have stopped me out. But since I was only down half the usual amount it was easier to get my money back.

I am still learning to trust my signals and indicators a little more and find the combination that works most often. I have added pivots to my chart just to see how they hold up.

I live to trade another day!

I made $1100 on ES today. I LOVE easy trading days like this when it just goes in one main direction. I wish I could say that it was my skill that won the trade but it wasn't. There was little retracement and it went straight down.

Things I did right:

1. Had a good entry.

Things I did wrong:

2. Didn't let my runner run...I cut the trade short in profit.

I live to trade another day!

Made $1400 on ES today. I loss the first two trades then won the 3rd. I still don't feel like I am making trades based on educated decisions and instead I feel like I am guessing. And sometimes I guess right and sometimes I guess wrong. I know that trading is based on probability and I will never be right 100% of the time but I just don't feel confident in my trades and I am taking trades based on feel instead of technicality. I am just hoping that gets better with time.

Things I did right:

1. Only took a few trades after I loss and was able to hit my daily profit target.

Things I did wrong:

1. Nothing really....but I just want to be more confident in my trades.

Why not use an Algo system? Like Wealth-Lab?

I made $1400 on ES today. Today was a easy day to trade because the volume and momentum is back. I am still only going for 4 points and for the first time in like 5 months there has been little retracing once the algos pick a direction.

Things I did right:

1. Had a great entry and was cashed out in one trade.

Things I did wrong:

1. I had double the amount of contracts on there AGAIN. I really have to stop rushing in the mornings and pay better attention.

Made $1450 on ES today. It was another easy day where it only went in one direction for over 30 minutes. I could have gotten MANY more points today but I didn't want to mess up my consistency for the combine. I am VERY close to hitting the profit target and I will probably hit it this week but I'll still have to meet the 15 trading days requirement.

Things I did right:

1. Entered the trade at a good spot and hit my daily profit target and let a runner run.

Things I did wrong:

1. Nothing

I made $1300 on ES today which means as of today, October 5th, 2022 I have reached the target profit and "passed" the combine! I put passed in quotes because I still have to meet the 15 trading days requirement. From this point forward I will be trading the micros until I reach that 15th day. I used a new indicator today called Buy/Sell pressure. The BuySellPressure indicator displays both the current bar's buying and selling pressure as percentage values based on the categorization of trades as buy or sell trades. Trades are categorized in real-time as a buy (at the ask or above) or as a sell (at the bid or below). When the divergence was far apart (which for me is 5% or more difference) it helped confirm the direction. This was my first day using it so I am not sure how much it will help but we'll see.

I probably won't update this journal again until I get funded and start trading live.

Things I did right:

1. I entered the trade using my indicators as confirmation and was able to reach my daily profit and combine goal.

Things I did wrong:

1. Nothing
