Wednesday

Today the IB (OC) again is almost flat, there is no gap and the IB closed inside prior day HL range.

I don’t really have a nice setup for this, so no trade today

None of my setups fit the variables today, so again no trade

Friday

Today the IB is short, there is no gap and the IB closed inside prior day HL range.

DAX Short trade
Entry 10:00 @ 15568
Exit 10:30 @ 15578
SL 40 pts
Result -10 pts

Historical results with this setup:
301 pts (33 trades/win% 73%)

edit 10:01: SL adjusted from 36 to 40

Monday

Unfortunately, I couldn’t trade this morning as I’m travelling.

Today the IB was long, there was an up gap that didn’t close. This gives the trade short 9:30 – 11:00, which would have given 40 points profit.

I’m counting it in this journal, as I want all trades registered, also when I was not able to trade it live.

Tuesday

Today the IB is long, there is no gap and IB is inside prior day high/low. If the IB was red, the system would give the same trade with an SL of 40.

DAX Long trade
Entry 10:30 @ 15765
Exit 12:00 @ 15761
SL 30 pts
Result -4 pts

Historical results with this setup:
737 pts (30 trades/win% 77%)

Wednesday

Tomorrow morning I'll be travelling again, so I can't trade live, but will check afterwards if there would have been a trade or not.

Edit 13:46:
- Arrived in The Azores. Here it is 2 hrs earlier than in Amsterdam, so I hope I can wake up every day on time for the trade.
- This morning the IB was short, no gap and price at 9:30am was below prior day HL range. This gives a long trade from 10:00 till 11:30 (with SL 29p), what would have resulted in a 13p loss.

Today the IB is long, there is a down gap which was closed during IB.

DAX Long trade
Entry 10:30 @ 15680 (June contract)
Exit 12:00 @ 15684
SL 29 pts
Result 4 pts

Historical results with this setup:
329 pts (16 trades/win% 80%)

Let’s see

edit 12:04: Price first almost hit the SL (3p), then up 60+p, to exit with a small profit
