Hello traders,

Time flies... Still busy with a (non trading related) assigment, that probably is going to continue till the end of the year, maybe even longer.
It's good to make some real money after a 2,5 years of fulltime trading without having income or good trading results.

On a positive note, I didn't blow up any account like many starters did, far from that, so I believe my risk management and common sense kept me from disaster.
Made many bad descissions (not described in this journal) which in a few cases caused huge losses on a single trade or in a single day. But I also had a few huge winners (thanks to @GFIs1).

Anyway, I want to continue trading my system in this journal.
Before I can continue, I want to make some minor changes to the system. I started doing some of the work, and can hopefully finish the changes in the next weeks.
Once the changes are done, I will look for some time how the system is doing before live trading, but will discuss the progress here.

I'm excited to get it going again and to follow a path leading towards my early pension.

Hello traders,

OK. I did the work I wanted to do. I reviewed the process and ranges that I’m looking at, and updated the data (so now 2010 till 30th June 2022).

I’m only going to look at the DAX. Maybe later, when my assignment is finished, I will continue with FESX, NQ and ES.

I’ll start posting trades if there is one, but consider it paper trading for now and I won’t count them in the results of this journal.

Yesterday extreme values (Prior day OC -310 pts). I made a set of rules for extreme situations, but haven’t tested it.

Following the set of rules, there is no good result, so no trade.
However, the rules make sense, I think.
