All the brothers have decided to gather and see dad off.

How could we think of doing anything else.

I am touched by the response, my friends.
May we trade again, soon....

Dad passed away last night.

I'm sure he wanted to spare me seeing him in that damn place.
90 years and not one night in a hospital.... WWII doesn't count

I'm going home for a while.

Thank you all for the sentiment....

90 years and no hospital.....thats freaking amazing! Sounds like he had a great life..... and WWII does count.....I for one am truly grateful for his service as well as all the fellow citizen soldiers he served with. His service helped make our country great.

Drive safe my friend.

God Bless.

We all owe your dad and the other members of his generation a debt we can never repay....I am thankful he had a long life, and that he was healthy and active until the end. My deepest sympathy for you and your family........

My focus is on:
1. Avoid the opening chop.
2. Honor stops
3. Ensure reward > risk on all trades

Thought I would try a few SIM trades this morning with some live data.

Overall I was a bit jumpy holding on to trades, but I am seeing them correctly
for the most part.

Trade 1

I got a bit nervous when I thought I misread a continuation entry and bailed early.

+5

Trade 2

Just not trusting my instincts for a strong bounce.

+4

Trade 3

Poor entry - I didn't wait for the PB

-7

Trade 4

Correct entry but my ATM caught me

BE -1

Trade 5

Finally

good entry and held

+17

I'll quit while I'm ahead
up $135.90

I am using an ATM that keeps a decent scalp amount, but leaves an opening if price is moving
with strength.

all the small profits were manual close outs - I hate doing that.

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words about my father.
I am still struggling with my emotions - I have never lost anyone close
to me before. It will just take time I suppose.

I woke up in the middle of the night and thought I would take a few trades on some live SIM during the
London open... just a few scalps for a quick $155.

My life is pretty much back to normal now. I feel a bit like a different person, however. A little more
reflective. I take time to just look at a tree or a flower and wonder at the miracles around me.
A mystic or zen feeling overwhelms me at times.

I have been going through tons of Market Replay data to hone in my entry skills. As I like to trade just
a few narrow windows in the day, I can trade several replay days of data in a single sitting.

I have not made any chart changes in months.

I have settled on a type of fluid scalping method that will morph with market conditions.
The starting point is a 3:1 ratio - 12 tick target and 4 tick stop. I will move the target as
price allows and move to BE when price has moved safely away.

I have been able to work with such crazy tight stops, by working with only a few entry types that
move in my direction more than they do not.
That is all you can hope for. I then just keep trading, knowing that I will eventually end up well in the
green.

A discovered edge along with a good ratio is an unbeatable combination.

I have not had a losing week since this last intense research push began. If I have losing day, I shut it down
quickly and walk away. The plan will work the next day.

I have had a few perfect trend days that I have netted over a grand with one car.

I believe, if I had to, I could make a living at this point. For now, I am happy to keep building the account
and logging massive screen time.

Life is good

The chart looks a bit different because I was trading a single screen consolidation of my two
screen setup.... just the laptop. I think I like it.

How big is the screen on the laptop?

Ha!! not big enough!! 15", I think....

You really can't beat multi- screens... I was just practicing and what I liked was not having to lug my
second screen to the studio... lol
