Prior Day was the choppiest PA I have seen for a while in the TF
This pattern continued thought the overnight.
Looks like I may have another battle on my hands.

Trade 1
A beautiful PB entry on a good trend.
These type of entrys take a bit of inverse thinking for me, as
I am always looking for reversals or continuations. I was able to make a very
tight stop just below the entry SR line, so the RR convinced me
to just gamble with the trend.
+15
target hit

Trade 2
Looking for a little scalp on counter trend entry
+5

Trade 3
PA was not ideal for a market open entry, so I sat a waited a bit.
Price stalled going higher, so I placed a Sell Stop at a logical location
and waited.
+16 exit after I achieved my daily goal

Up $342
Weekly Total $946 ... just short of my weekly goal.

I am noticing that my entrys are becoming more dependent on Price Action and are independent
of any MA's or volume signals. I find myself "anticipating" what the market will do, and this is often before
any type of indicator "Signal".
Does this mean I am moving to a naked chart? In my mind, I'm already there.
The only things that matter are HH's, LL's and SR levels.
I think I am close to Trading Zen...

Well, isn't this how life goes...

The end of last year was incredibly busy for my studio business, giving my bottom line a boost I was not
prepared for (taxes). I guess there were a bunch of recording contracts expiring or something.

This year has started out slowly, but is now picking up.

What this is all leading up to, is that between the taxes owed and a couple of mortgage payments, my trading account took a big hit. (I use the trading account as an emergency fund)

I will not trade with a marginally funded account again, so I must wait.

I was so discouraged by this development, that I couldn't even post for a while.

So, for now, I am losing myself in the music business and my horse ranch.... Lot's of hours on the tractor, cleaning up the
pastures and just staying busy.

Sooner or later, I will start studying the markets again. But I just can't at the moment. I'm too disappointed. I was
just about to go live again when the funds started flying out of the account.

I'm going to just live for
a while and try not to think about trading for a bit.

I suppose I needed a break anyway.
It is all meant to be....

Well, The business has bounced back in a big way and I am building up the trading account again. I am enjoying
all the free time I have had and am getting many things done around the farm.

I am just about over the frustration of not being able to go live due to the decimation of my trading account.

I'll be back to the studies soon.

The ballistics of TF have changed a bit since I last studied the markets. A little more jumpy.

It feels good to be looking at the charts again. I feel quite at home.

I made a decent deposit into the trading account. Hopefully, by cool weather, I may be able to
give it a go again. We shall see. Being self-employed makes things a bit dicey.

For now its study time...

Market Replay 7-11-11, Monday

The previous Friday saw a very fast sell off at 730am cdt. All within a five minute bar. The rest of the day
was then caught in a narrow range.

The Asian and London markets saw steady selling.

Trade 1

A PB entry short that made me wait, but hit the target.

+15

Trade 2

A bit impatient on a BO trade. Some of my charts did not agree and I paid the price for the
gamble.

-10

Trade 3

Another good PB entry... target hit much quicker this time.

+15

Three full trades and out per my rules.

I'm keeping all the rules I had in place before my hiatus.

up $202

Prior Day saw a big sell off early followed by a steady grind down the rest of the day.
Consolidation formed after the RTH, breaking down again at 10pm cdt and midnight.
A bounce occured at the London open, ending at 430am when I began the replay.

Trade 1
Just a bit early on a BO entry.
- 14

Trade 2
A perfect entry on a PB.
It hit my BE+1 target quickly and was able to move my stops and
targets down as
PA permitted. Target hit at at area of support.
+32

I missed a wonderful bull run by thinking I was in a bear
trend, when actually the bulls had taken over.
...a little peeved, so I'm calling it.

Up $178

The bulls remained in control in the prior day after I stopped trading.
Price moved sideways starting at 1030am cdt, until a nice sell off
occurred at 1pm.
The Globex session saw a steady bull trend until I picked up the
replay at 5am cdt.

Trade 1

Price stalled at a major area of resistance after a long grind up in the overnight, giving me cause to enter counter trend.

+15 Target hit.

Trade 2

A bit pre-mature in my PB entry
-11

Trade 3

PB re-entry.
+15 Target hit.

up $182 for the morning.

I am currently doing a study of the TF during the Globex session, especially the London hours
up to the NY open. The market seems much more predictable and deliberate.
I'm making a grid on graph paper and highlighting any strong moves in red and green
as they pertain to time, looking for any patterns. I have noted several good moving
times.

Plenty of time for study as I grow the account back.

I enjoy the research.

Well, here we go again...

The fridge croaked over the weekend, so there goes another grand out of the trading account.

The last deposit I made stayed in for about a week.

Is someone trying to tell me something! lol

I am not deterred. Let the studies continue. When I am funded again, I will be beyond ready...

as you were.....
