A bit ahead of a trade signal but GOLD seems really bid and risk into US open sluggish, so looking for back to the highs of day. Since am early will need to watch like a hawk and need early signs of confirmation otherwise will bail.

too much sideways action for a marginal conviction trade, so bailed. Will re-enter once market chooses a direction.

Am I being too impatient with trades when I am live?
thanks

And as luck has it signal comes right after. This is a tricky one as its time to pick up 5yr from school and its the US Open (usually a bit of vol that knock out stops)... but have enough in the tank today that ill let this one test itself, so im going to set it and let it play out.

Previous trade didn't get executed before I left for pickup so I cancelled all....2:30 US OPEN surprise was USD drops.. positive in my view and lead me to trigger a sell before signal confirmation.

Scaled out of 1 contract and moved other SL to BE. Currencies and stocks not following through was reason to scale out.

Price action making me think this has further to go past .56, so going to trail a SL 7 ticks above once .56 is hit (current ATR = 4)

Trailing...always find it a bit tough to determine how far back to set the trailing stop...as a guess ive been setting it 2xATR back on the thinking if it goes 2 bars against me I should want to be out

if others have a smarter way to calculate how far back, im all ears

Momentum was lost, so exited manually at the original TP @ 173.56.
Most likely early...but I kick myself when profits are given up.
