@TropicalTrader Thank you for that video you just posted up in your journal. It definitely reminded me of some of my limiting beliefs. And made me go back and rethink a few things. When you meditate, have you ever recorded your thoughts? that being said, I probably need to do more breathing meditation to improve my focus and just let thoughts go.
Monkey Mind
Since this is a New year, my New Year's resolution is to STOP trading in isolation. These are just my mindmap thoughts. It's just a rough draft since I'm always changing it and adding to it. It helps get the thought out of my head and into something more physical.
Red is the Question
Green is the Answer
Blue is the Solution (or what I believe to be at the moment)
Why am I doing it like this?
I sometimes question this myself because it looks messy, but it quickly conveys what I'm looking for. Rather than having to scroll through words of text to find an idea or thought.
This is a rough draft, since I used to have a surface pro with a pen that I could intuitively draw my thought bubbles but it gave up. The reason why it helped me so much was because of the flow. Here I have to stop and think and locate the drawing tools and it makes me lose focus on the main goal, which is to capture the thoughts (without back track and judgement.) So hopefully this helps me toward profitability and I can replace that surface pro.
Is there a better way of capturing thought?
- I know there is a MindMap apps. But it doesn't allow me branch out from a text, like for example, I can associate my text word "WorkSpace"(blue) to a solution or question.
- I sometimes use Excel but it's hard to create the visual links

I need a plan walking forward. I will create a checklist for myself before I even touch a trade or let an algo run to have at least some confidence in my system.
