I am interested in getting an electronic trading journal for my ES futures trades.

Can someone please tell me which one can accept Interativebrokers trades import and has a feature to analyze which trading hours are more favorable and unfavarable intraday ?

Can Insight trading journal do that ? If not, which one can ?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Tradervue has support for interactive Brokers - https://www.tradervue.com:443/help/brokers
And intraday analysis - https://www.tradervue.com:443/help/interactive_reports
They could be worth investigating further.

I have used Tradervue, and I believe it can do that hour analysis you mentioned. It's been a long time since I tried it, but I recall that it did quite a lot. I never used it with IB.

I'm not using it now because I decided I didn't need it, but not due to any deficiency in it that I can recall now.

They do have a discount for Elite members. You can click on the "Elite Discounts" tab at the top of every page and then select them from the list. They will then get in touch with you.

As I recall, they have a free trial so you can check it out before committing. They give a 30-day money back guarantee also as part of the FIO Elite offer after you buy. I just asked for it and got it back with no problem.

I don't know if it will meet what you need or not, but you can slice and dice your trades in many different ways. As I mentioned, I decided I just didn't need it, which is more about my laziness, perhaps, than about them.

Below from tradervue, ref your specific question. I use them with NT8, manually upload my trades at the end of the day via csv file and am very happy with their platform.

Thanks everyone. Does tradervue or Tradewonk have MFE and MAE analysis in both points and time since entry ?

My own stat reveals that exits are mostly too early. Specific MFE no.s could help further identify improvement on duration management.

Hi, not sure if they got what you envision, specifically. For tradervue you can check here: https://www.tradervue.com:443/plans

when still in doubt about what it offers, I suggest either giving the free version a try or getting in touch with the vendor directly.
