Price continued where it was closed yesterday. Yesterday was a strong bull day so I am expecting there will be a follow through today. The close of yesterday formed a strong, steep bull and I am expecting more up room
1) H2, EMA, bounce off trend line. I exit because weak followthrough on breakout, and news is coming up in the next 2 minutes
2) Failed 2nd attempt short, and a failed LH. Market has been trending higher and forming higher low. I was expecting it to breakout and go higher. It take breakout and reverse. I stopped out a breakeven. I didn't get out at the 2 tails because I highly below market will breakout and go higher and my risk was very small (2 ticks).
A) I have expected a reversal after bear show some strength after the news, but there was no second attempts after the initial sell off. This probably is the second attempt to sell off. It is a failed breakout as well.

9/10/2010 - No Trade. It's 10:18 and I think price will be in a tight trading range for a while. I will call it quit for the day.
Market open in the middle of yesterday closing range. The opening bar is huge bear bar, which I believe it will be a trading range. Price did break out to the top shortly, but then form more trading range.
Hi @cw30000, I liked your clean and simple approach -- I hope that you will not abandon the journal, and keep sharing your trades How has your trading been?
I didn't post because I've gone live. It has been doing alright. ES is really slow and it didn't really fit my schedule. I've tried forex today, and it was working out great. I am able to reduce my risk and able to achieve my profit.
ES didn't fit my scheduled has nothing to do with my job. I don't start my day job until noon. It is because I take my son to bed around 9ish and then I wake up around 4 or 5 in the morning. If I trade ES, I have to wait 4 to 5 hours for the opening.
