Took my lumps today 1 winner 3 losers -68
pips . The news had me being used like a punching bag while it broke back into bull mode .
Sorry to hear that. Tomorrow is another day and your method is proven, so no big deal.
Mike

I do have a few tweaks I plan to add , in regards to MM, but for now its working well enough to qualify as worthwhile . The 1/1 risk all or nothing profit capture is somewhat crude but forces one to let the trades unfold and Ive gained a lot of dicipline practicing this day after day .
I also have a simpler version that follows the current sessions high or low as a bias that produces overall . But for this thread Ill stick to the one method only .

4 winners 0 losers today +98 pips . I closed out trades 3 and 4 at 1200 EST . The choppy sloppy 75 pip range price action made money today .

3 winners 1 loser today +37 pips , so ends a seesaw ride of a week .
Observation -
Overall the greatest opportunites Ive seen whether the day turns out to be choppy or heavily trending begin when price starts making new highs or new lows . Sounds textbook when I say this but its true day after day . Focussing on trend following can blur these simple opportunities . If you think about it price needs to start somewhere and where it starts is up to you , it could be any time of day but its more powerpacked when its around London,Tokyo or NY open (for FX anyway) . Kinda like the "line in the sand SR level" only its a vertical line Hmmmmm food for thought .
Have a nice peaceful weekend all see ya monday .

In terms of probability, maybe yes.
But the trend channel will end at one point and the descending triangle can easily breakout to the downside.

It will happen sooner or later. I hope sooner.
Causality is the relationship between an event (the cause) and a second event (the effect), where the second event is a consequence of the first.
