A few comments based on your posts

You talk about scaling in/out of positioning. Though i do not do that myself I was wondering why you do not scale in to winning positions. That's what i have seen good traders do.

Second i also can relate to being glued to the screen. We are like trading junkies. However, what i have been told and keep telling myself is that becoming a succesful traders is not about working long hours. it's about doing the right things. And being disciplined. And you can not be focusssed and concentrated for 8 hours in a row. So get away from the screen and take up some other interests indeed. Though it may feel a bit uncomfortable in the beginning... wait until you see it improve your trading skills and trading process.

Happy journey

Hey thanks Epalsma!

Yes I've had some time away from the screens this past week, a nice change although I did place a CFD trade on Tuesday on my phone away from my charts like a true junkie ^^ofc was a loser but since then I have been able to stay away for the rest of the week, been good for the mind!

Yes I will try and do something else during the trading days as-well! Just because the market is open doesn't mean I have to watch it bar by bar! Thanks!

Yes adding to winners is something I'm convinced I need to learn how to do! Goal for next week is to experiment a bit with that, question for me is do I add 1/3 to a winner? 1/2, maybe a full unit so the exposure is double to what it is normally? I guess I need to find my style but I really have no idea

Elite

After a week of vacation away from the screens, sort of.. took a trade on my phone at the beach LOL, as soon as I entered I realized that what I was doing now was just gambling exited and didn't log in to my brokerage for the rest of the week. Anyway I could see that I was stuck in a loop with my trading, If I don't change my method my results won't improve I'm right now a breakeven trader, which is worse then being a losing trader bc its difficult to pinpoint what I am doing wrong exactly. This made me pony up and get the elite membership, why? Because I actually take trading seriously and I believe this community can help me help myself (also I wanted access to a couple of webinars and threads ofc), been reading and watching stuff all weekend and I must say a lot of the stuff that was written in the old threads is great and I have just started. One of the things I realized was that my focus has not been on maximizing profit and winning and instead iv'e focused on not losing, which made me trade with fear.

Anyway took 1 trade today, one of my biggest point wins ever, my only goal was not to micro manage it, it was with a bit less size but still made decent money, I could almost follow the plan of the trade but scaled out a bit early (1.3R instead of 1.5R) and the market ofc went to my target and way beyond. Orange lines is alerts and green lines targets and red stop, last pic is when i exited so obv a bit early.
