First day of the funded account, total profit $347,1.
It looks like i am done for today unless i see volatility picking up later today, however i do not expect that to happen.

I might start a new journal for my funded account but i am no longer going to do daily updates, maybe weekly.
Not sure yet.

Edit: For some reason my screenshot isn't showing.

I wonder if you could share with us any issues that you have experienced with One Up since you have been trading with a funded account please. I have seen complaints with the Better Business Bureau that suggest the rules outlined on the website can change and that getting paid for reaching goals is difficult. I dont know if these were just sour grapes but if you could share your experiences that would great. Thanks!

I have never heard about getting paid for reaching goals.
There are some extra rules in the funded account like 50% of the volume you traded during the evaluation account and be positive after 15 days.

There is another thread here about a guy who had a funded account and he managed to withdraw some profit without any problems.

I never experienced any problems before with OneUp.

Thanks for the info - I'm glade to see they are legit. The word goals is probably incorrect, I was referring to the minimum targets depending on the level of account funded.

Hey RDK91, how has your experience with OUT on the funded account been so far?

Would you say OUT is reliable when it comes to paying out? I've avoided OUT b/c of their shady background but hopefully that is not the case because otherwise, their rules are much better than TST's.

I have not yet made any withdrawals, however there is another thread on this forum in which the funded trader made a withdrawal (i believe it was $1000) and received the money without any issues.

good to know.

also, i'm a fellow foreigner (nonresident alien for tax purposes) and i have one more question - if i'm understanding this correctly, with Oneuptrader or Topsteptrader, you submit a W8-BEN once you're funded and you pay tax to your home country, not the US.

but with E2T, since they make you a limited partner and give you a schedule K-1, you pay tax to the US and then report the tax to your home country's tax authority to avoid double taxation (assuming there's an existing tax treaty).

is this correct?

With E2T you do not pay taxes in the US, you only need to report your taxes to the IRS, you always need to pay taxes in the country where you live.

MES capital is based in the BVI and they do not require a W8-BEN.

wow thanks. doesn't this mean you have to submit a W8-BEN for E2T since they are based in Delaware?

Yes, with E2T you need to file a W8-BEN and you need to report your income from the K1 to the IRS.
