I have come to realize how important focus is to my success in the market. Social stress can come in many forms and some of those stresses cannot be avoided. I have turned my back on a social group that has been a considerable amount of stress for me. I am confident that this decision will afford me more time for study and help to unclutter my mind while walking this path as "Trader". Family and work stress is unavoidable and I am becoming much better at managing it.

Now that I have my Sunday's fully free I can properly study before market open.
Sometime trading can be very boring; music in the background always helps.
For now I will browse around this site and find valuable information that can assist me in making more money this week than I have last week.

Lets have a productive week!

So.............i got rejected by Generictrade today......more than likely it was my declaration of income or something............they offered a followup............

One must be flexible....so............I applied to Interactive Brokers live and demo...............a major plus come to think of it because I can use NT7...........and that's more than ideal..............

So now I have difficulty opening my chart of choice MGC gold futures.............well............NYMEX is all I can say

THe thing with IB is that one must make at leats 20 dollars of commision per calendar month for the perk....im cool with that.....i can make 20 dollars a month trading futures.........i am skilled enough.....

Life away from the chart influences ones trading decisions

As I have mentioned posts ago; I removed myself from a social situation.....
It was the church I was attending

Its been a month now
___________________________________________________________________

A visit by the pastor is expected tomorrow at my home
Its like a news event where price touches a major support/resistance level
My final decision in the matter must be made in this meeting before uttering a word
___________________________________________________________________

My trading will support my musical endeavors; this is one reason why I trade
Here is an example of what I would do all day with profitable trades going
Its what I strive for........
___________________________________________________________________

Jazz karaoke..........

Church music.........

___________________________________________________________________

Gotta keep the focus so eventually I just play saxophone and travel while trading
The only way I will get there is by a settled mind/spirit/body

its time to stop demoing and start trading

i closed it in profit less than an hour later............man....i tell ya...........trading requires flexibility and thinking on your feet, hands, and head.....

I have decided to switch to trading currency on the futures exchange(s) rather than the spot market. The trading platform I have decided to use is Sierra Chart. I will be focusing on the emicro currencies.
The reason for the decision is twofold; volume analysis tools are not included with MT5 and futures exchanges are regulated. So with that being said, any loss is entirely on me....there is no way to blame others.
Since at this moment I am still a wage earner and I have not funded my live account yet, you will see trades made before I get to work or after I return home..........but the ultimate goal is to trade the NY session and flatten everything by 3pm EST.

I look forward to all constructive criticisms and advices....

Curious what made you choose SC specifically?
