Friday 1.18 and Monday 1.21.2019 as new cycle approaching with Full Moon +Lunar Eclipse +Dr. Martin L. King's Holiday.

Last Lunar Eclipse major impact was in 2015, don't run off holding "Long" over weekend holiday without putting "Short" on as protection, huh?.
@2645.50 YHigh = 100% Symmetry AB=CD on 1440M Chart
If @2592 Bulls LIS holding up and YHigh break-out, then likely T2666 with potential T2700 retest of break-down point.

Can't trade effectively without it; and thank goodness for basic ABC triangle that I've learned from my mentor from StructuralTrading.com.

Here is updated RTH 30M Chart for a SwingL2535 that I traded and forgot about it; interesting where it stopped at EOD with 2677.75 as HOD!

How did I put my "Short" on safely?
1. At EOD before closing, took 2 contracts S2673 and took one off for ten points on pullback, then use that profit to fund stop loss for second one--even though price action kept grinding up higher.
2. SUN 6pmET reOpen GapDown = took off hedgeL2571 and addedS2671 (same level before rollover, remember).
3. MON 6pmET reOpen Pop2Sell and in selling mode during Asia, European, preMarket, and NYSE sessions for 61 points down from high for a Rising Wedge Bearish pattern on Daily chart; but it was perfect setup to chase Long at EOD.
Why? Ah, wait for next post but the obvious clue was in 240M and 1440M charts.

Rising Wedge Bearish pattern on Daily chart; but it was perfect setup to chase Long at EOD.
Why?

Chasing? Is that even allowed?
Well, it's an exception to the rules where almost the same 50SMA 2616.75 on 1440M chart and @2615.40 on 240M chart; don't think I see anything like it ever. It's bouncing 10 points up/down/up and I managed 2L2620, then addedL2623 after 3pmET.
As usual with the same dirty trick for big down day at 4pmET, short squeezed with massive Algo programs BUY for almost 20 points when developing POC moved from 2646 to 2628 in nano second.
Quickly took S2671 off and only kept S2673. As for intraday Long positions, just took one of S2620 off and left one as runner along with L2623.

There were two measure moves in play:
1. [2567-2677.75] = nextHwbL2635-2622-2609 T2706 (That's why I chased another 50%L2623)
2. ?
Using the attached 90M chart, see if you can figure out the second one, if not... I'll update in the morning.

Pay attention to 50%2600 level because it would be the clue to suvive the "Shake & Bake" on Wednesday.

Spotting potential trouble -- likely reTest Low again (return to Crime of the Scene) because time of the rally and VAL as LOD:

Take off iSwingL2623 by reversing for iSwingS2650

10amET Bears setup
[2677.75-2616.50]=hwbS2640-47-54 T2599-2591
IF failedBO THEN Go4 GapFill + expecting reTest ONL + YL
IF not breaking 62%S2654 THEN NO right to Buy pullback (may try to reversal at GF but only once)

Being "shaken-out" long enough... finally learned and survived!
Surviving the shake-out with newL2616 and SwingL2620 still intact with 2610 Stop but hard stop could be 2600-2592 zone where Bulls LIS has to hold up.
If loaded the boat then don't forget to take profit at EOD--too risky and not enough margin to hold more than 2-3 contracts overnight.
Regardless of what method of trading you use, all required screen time watching price action; this shake-out movement was just right--not too fast or too slow. Furthermore, 10M doji candle stick was more reliable signal then 4M for this shake-out.

Bias is still Bullish but have to endure more pain for Thursday with @8:30amET ECB Press Conferance, then CL EIA report on 11amET this week because of Holiday.
Pay attention on Friday Weekly Op-Ex for which direction they want to play; therefore, still keep "Short" on for protection.
BTW, if Lady Crude Oil is not break-out (either direction) then Drama Queen likely not either; thus side way rainge so far--seems like they were in correlation moves last couple days.

Couldn't update chart journal because NT8 kept freezing due to "memory leak" many times... so took a long nap.
Came back but having problem with Ultimate Drawing Tool because of new version upgraded; so just in time to addS2671 and to watch for price action near closing.
SAT
Tried to do it but my back and my tail bone were still in pain; so it has to wait for another day--watching some Al Brooks videos in bed instead.
SUN
Can't load NT8 data for any chart until after noon.

It's not like "Dog ate my homework!" but somewhat like that along with being "old".

Just FYI

First time for a long time...
I couldn't find any valid reason Why ES reversed up at WED @2612.50 LOD other than failed break-down after retesting low
Note: found one other reason on RTH 30M chart but didn't really think it's valid Fibonacci drawing unless it hit T2712, then I will post it later).

Finally found the answer on Friday by reviewing my mentor's TUE intraday chart.
It's the BEST Chart of the Week because:
1. Not only it's beautiful with simply "Less is More"
2. It retraced accordingly by 'dancing' around those levels as supports all the way up to Decision Zone
