with the 10K offer, were they setting aside the $6000/contract (overnight) or $500/contract (daytrading).. I would also recommend using Ticks rather than time based..(210 to be specific)...when playing with volatility ... if they are allowing daytrading only and using a daytrade amt....that would be better than what the gauntlet allowed....especially with NQ...also look at ES...used to trade NQ all the time but found ES worked better...less volatility...but still had the moves..

I was not allowed to do overnight trading, probably since id didn't do well overnight in my Gauntlet.

I already looked at ES however i need the volatility to get the most out of my system.

I was offered either trading with the 10K or a free Gauntlet, however i received the free Gauntlet offer after i explained my case to them, this is probably just a one time offer.

just a note I found.....can not use NT when trading live when funded by Helios…

On that note, we regret to inform you that Ninja Trader will no longer be supported for trading accounts funded by Helios. While it is currently supported on simulation accounts such as in The Gauntlet™, you use NinjaTrader at your own risk as we do not know if or when NinjaTrader may decide to disable this functionality as well. You are free to use any other platforms from a long list of those integrated with Rithmic, and of course you can continue to use NinjaTrader as a charting platform as long as they support it, and one of the additional free platforms we provide for execution. There are also other platforms available including AgenaTrader which can import indicators made for NinjaTrader.

I am using the Rithmic dom and another platform for charting.
Never been a Ninjatrader fan so no problem for me.

First trading day of the new Gauntlet.

So from here on i will only be trading NQ volume charts, first 2 hours of the US session (1 contract each trade), if there is very little movement the first 2 hours i might add the last hours of the US session however i think it will not happen very often.

4 trades today, 3 winning, 1 break even for a total profit of 512,24$.

Day 2:

Again only 1 contract each trade, did 8 trades today, made 2 miss clicks since i am using keyboard shortcuts since today to execute my trades and i made some small mistakes there.

4 winners, 4 losers.
Total profit for today is 214,48$, could have been a little bit higher without those mistakes but i am not complaining.

I am not wishing to share my entire trading system here, i trade a continuation and reversal system based on the momentum indicator, certain patterns and some other factors.

However i am willing to give you my entry and exit prices, yesterday for example:

Trade 1: Buy @ 6547.25, out at 6541.25, - 124,44$
Trade 2: Buy @ 6531.25, out at 6538.25, +135,56$
Trade 3: Sell @ 6574.00, out at 6579.50, - 114,44$
Trade 4: Buy @ 6579.00, out at 6586.00, +135,56$
Trade 5: Sell @ 6593.00, out at 6596.25, - 69,44$
Trade 6: Sell @ 6593.50, out at 6602.50, - 184,44$
Trade 7: Buy @ 6590.00, out at 6607.25, +340,56$
Trade 8: Sell @ 6606.50, out at 6601.50, +95,56$

All trades are entered with a fixed 1:1,5 risk:reward, however during the trades this can change based on momentum picking up or not. Average trade lengt for above mentioned trades is below 5 minutes. The longest trade was trade 7 and took around 8 minutes.
