Started getting a bad headache earlier this morning so I missed 2 good trades. Caught one great one to make up for it.
Done for the day.
Although price has swung around some today, the changes in direction were nice and smooth. Nothing abrupt. Volume is very good at 342k going into lunch. For a while there that was a full days volume.
Day 4 of the Bull slaughter seems to be well underway. Not a good time to be long on NQ.
No high impact news today unless we get another Trump and Dump.
Good volume yesterday although slightly less than the previous two days. Volume this morning is a bit light as well when you compare it to this time on the previous three days.
Looking for one good trade for the day then walk away. Yesterday after I had that nice trade I played around with sim and over traded like crazy. I chased trades horribly. Some worked out others just wiped profits. Lesson of the day, make some money get the heck out. Go enjoy life.
Three trades today. I thought about just stopping after the first one but the next two set ups were pure gold. Stayed very conservative and only took trades with strong pull backs all the way to the 200 ema. All from the 1000 tick chart, see below. 368 ticks all total. Did just like yesterday. Entered the trade, waited for the 21 ema to move in front of my entry point then assigned the stop to the ema. These markets have been very friendly to me and how I trade. Not going to lie I really hope they continue this way for a long time. LOL!

It may get interesting around here over the next few days. Hurricane Michael is predicted to still be a tropical storm when it gets to us later tonight and through Thursday. I probably won't trade Thursday I would hate to get into a trade and then lose power. I have a backup plan but why take the chance. If it is weaker when it gets here then I will trade. They are calling for 30+ mph sustained winds as it passes. Of course they said that about Florence and we didn't get much more than a trickle and a slight breeze. LOL! Wish I could be as wrong as the weather people and still make money trading.
Some observations:
Yesterdays volume on NQ was still strong but getting a little weaker each day. Still above the 10 day moving average on volume.
Overnight volume was decent putting it close to yesterdays volume at this time. Could be another 600k day for NQ. I am a little concerned at the swings in price that started showing up yesterday near the close and continued through the night. Has me wondering if we are moving into a range bound day. Not really a big deal, it just changes how I would trade it. The range is fairly wide at 34 points so there could still be some opportunities for longer trades but I may just drop back and grab 10-20 points and be done. Run and gun offense. We will see how it does as we move into the US session. Looks like the bulls and the bears are battling it out.
Still working on getting the trade signals working right in BloodHound. I get occasional oddball signals that really shouldn't be there. Haven't figured out if it is how I have it set up or perhaps a bug in their software. If I can't figure it out I will take a screenshot and send it to them to see if I am missing something.
Crap! Missed a nice one. Couldn't ask for a much nicer set up but I was away from my computer when it started. LOL! Unlike Pokemon you can't catch them all! Would've, Could've and Should've been over 100 ticks locked in.
