1. The opportunity before open: excess high on 3-13 tuseday, one timeframing down on daily plus condensing energy for 3 days. Finally on monday 3-19 gap down.
2. Initiative selling determined by open drive, with high probability MID play
3. First complication, uncertainty raised by NQ is forming balanced profile and fails to hold MID, while ES was properly holding the MID. Risk of balancing and returning back to previous consolidation above.
4. Initiative selling likely now, stalking short
5. Last final confirmation by impulsive down move with extreme orderflow collission
What i did well:
- the MID entry
- the retry at VAH -> well exited, even though the trade would go my direction eventually
- The entry based on the volume cluster
My errors of the day:
- I had hard time believe this is open drive, because such open occurs very rarely -> however it is rare, but huge opportunity -> so that is why i make rigorous drawings today so i remember this situation in case it happens again.
- Was not at the computer punctually at open, as a result I missed the first MID test
- Impulsivity, i took couple of longs after it was a clearly "no-long" day.
