1-Mar
-------
Total Profit : 19 ticks (2 trades)
First Trade : 1 tick (6C)
6C went down in morning. I missed one opportunity to short. So on second pull back, I shorted at 1.0254. After a while I realized I didn't wait for swing line. So exited at BE+1.

Second Trade : 18 ticks (6B)
6B was in tight range during afternoon. 1.6270 price was touched so many times during choppy period. Perfect entry @1.6269. I went with 2 orders. First target exited at +6, second target was 10, but then I increased it to 12.

On 6S I missed one good move today. But overall satisfactory day after last week's mess.

I have drafted few entry/exit rules in a document. I will refer to it before entering any position. Yesterday I wrote a custom indicator that paints Grey background when there is a news time. That should help me to stay away from trades during news time. If anyone interested let me know, I can share that indicator.

Hi Jeff

I have attached MyNewsTime indicator with this. It can paint background with any color before news time. There are two parameters you can set : NewsAlertMinutes and BackgroundColor. Hope that helps.

2-Mar
------
Total Profit : 11 ticks (2 trades)
First Trade : 13 ticks (6B)
Too many news in morning time, so I couldn't do any trading. But in afternoon I saw a support swing line @1.6320. I wanted to short @1.6319, but I missed to enter trade. So shorted @1.6318. First target 6 ticks. Second Target was 10 ticks, but then I didn't see quick movement. So exited with 7 ticks on second target.

Second Trade : -2 ticks (6J)
6J made sharp down move in afternoon. Swing support @0.012214. Shorted @0.012212. First target was 5 ticks and second was 10 ticks. After entry, next bar was doji, so I got nervous that it may be reversing. So exited at -1 ticks on both target. I wish I waited some more time. It was a winner.

4-Mar
-------
Total Profit : -11 ticks (2 trades)
First Trade : -11 ticks (6S)
6S was in downtrend during morning. I missed a chance to short at a swing line. So decided to wait for another swing line. But before swing line is drawn, I saw a support building at 1.0778. Shorted at 1.0777. As soon as I shorted 6S it went straight up, That was a strong move. My both stops got hit. -20 ticks. So I reversed my position at stop. I exited both position at +3+6 ticks. So ended up with -11 ticks. I need more patience.

I still need to work on my discipline and patience. This weekend I will spend some time analyzing my journal and study previous trades. Have a good weekend everyone.

7-March
---------
Total Profit : 14 ticks (6B, 2 trades)
First Trade : 12 ticks (6B)

6B kept moving down this morning. It made nice break from couple of swing lines. So it was safe to trade it. Around noon, swing support at 1.6211. It was also a support line from daily pivots. Shorted @1.6210. I entered 2 orders, but only one got filled. So I canceled second one. Firs target was 7 ticks. But I saw strong move, so increased it to 12 ticks. Filled easily.

Second Trade : 2 ticks(6B)
After first trade, another swing line @1.6190. Shorted @1.6189. Breakout happened. First target was 7 ticks, second was 14 ticks. 6B went for 5 ticks and came back. I got a bad feeling about that entry. It was also lunch time, not much volume. So I exited at BE+1 on both targets.

I was analyzing my journal this weekend. Looking for problems with my entries. In most of losing trades I found that I was breaking my own rules in one way or another. So conclusion is my method is right, but I need to be more disciplined. Finding an edge can be easy, but following it is not easy.

9-Mar
------
Total Profit : 4 ticks (6S, 1 trade)
I saw a good swing support line @ 1.0768. I wanted short at 1.0767. But I missed it because my DOM was not prepared. So I quickly shorted @1.0765. On next bar I got Grey background from my news indicator. Realized that it was crude inventory report time. So decided to exit with +2 ticks on both targets. It was a winner anyway, but I didn't want any risk

After that I saw couple of opportunities on other instruments, but I was not confident enough. So decided to stay away.
