So far only 2 trades, but pretty annoyed as I've been taken out twice at BE bc of my ATM break-even stop.
Trade 1: Entered long after OR was established and y-day low seemed like good support. Then I just let the ATM work and was stopped on the tick and then it continued going up towards even $44 which was my target.
Trade 2: Again long with a buy stop entry above $44 even, filled at 44.05 as I thought the even number and OR-H should provide some support. Came close to stop but held and then again stop to BE but unfortunately out at entry again and then later it continued the upmove.
Long after even $44 and OR-H held, entered after we came back up and was looking for a move back up towards y-close and HOD but pretty annoyed at my ATM, again long CL up 5T then back to my entry and stopped on the tick before going up and hitting my anticipated target at y-day close....but well 3rd time in a row on CL...
Entered short after 44.80ish seemed like we would run out of buying pressure and looked like we would retrace lower, out come was 4th time in a row out at BE after 4T onside, feel like today isn't my day lol. out at entry just to see it trade in my initial direction...hmm more and more I question my ATM but need to more trades to confirm that so cant be annyoed
yep thinking the same as it happened already 4 times today, on all my trades!!! but as mentioned last week, I'll wait until I have at least 100 trades to assess the ATM. So I have more trades from to analyse
guys with small accounts, there is a new emini trading today on the CME. Russell 2000 (RTY) started to trade today, will monitor the index and see if volume goes up and if it could be a product which I could consider trading in the challenge as well. today we only had 1000 contracts traded so far, 1 lot about 2.5k margin
