The bond market appears incredibly short at this time. We get very strong moves down that end suddenly. This could be because everyone's going one direction preventing us from rotating. More numbers tomorrow that hopefully cause movement, but January is proving to be tough to trade.

Yesterday was fairly slow, but I finally got a decent move.

Today's was crazy crazy volume. Going into the best of for sure. I've seen this once before.

Decent move off the news, but too fast for me to feel comfortable trading it. Tried to take a few ticks afterwards but ended down overall when I got stuck in a bad trade with light volume.

Lots of additional pain in Bitcoin as predicted. We are getting close to my buy level. It might be below 50 tomorrow or the next day. Look at buying for what should be a short run towards highs.

My daily schedule has been a little different, and I keep forgetting to post videos in here. If there's a day with action you want to watch you can always find them on the youtube. Today was pretty range bound for the most part, and I had a very difficult time trading it. This is definitely drawdown time for my strategy, and I feel I need to manage the losses better. I need these days to me -2 instead of -6. But it's better than the 8-10 I've had on other bad days.

Today was possibly one of my best trading days ever. I was expecting a retrace, and literally opened up the dom and shorted the first spot I saw. The open on the e-mini is pretty interesting as well. I think this particular video should be significant to refer back to going forward. There is a clear lack of liquidity, and that seems to be the main driver in this market. We need to stop relying on robots so much, and get more humans trading again.

A second positive day, but only barely. Liquidity is still low and we're getting many jumpy moves. Great run in the e-mini though. Almost tempted to put orders into spoos, but the moves are outside of my risk tolerance for now.

Crazy action on the move down. Unfortunately, I'm not really around when it has been moving up to see what that action is like. We saw a crazy push up this afternoon however. Rising rates aren't so bad. I'm sure the spoos will get over it eventually.

My strategy going into today was if I saw selling after the news to just hit market sell and let it ride. This worked pretty well, but I had a hard time staying in the trade with such wild pullbacks. I had one trade that I got almost 15 ticks on that I let come all the way back. So I took a small profit and then right back in for a big winner. There's a lot of discussion about how to best handle these moves. It's so uncommon to have such a trade that it's impossible to predict what the exact swings will be. I'm happy just just interpret significance of the news and order flow correctly, and come away with a profit. Maybe the difference between 24 ticks and 32 ticks today is just splitting hairs?

I also created a separate ninjatrader simulated account to try some trades on the emini after recording. I'm not counting this in my overall performance since this is totally just practicing with exploratory trades. I saw some significant cumulative delta divergences with price. However, this turned out to be a complete disaster. I actually had some ok trades, but I had no idea when to take them off, and my overall strategy didn't play out. So I don't think I'll be trying ES again any time soon. To do what I do with treasuries would probably take another year of watching just the e-mini. Plus the e-mini just doesn't fit my risk parameters right now. So I shouldn't waste my time.
