Welcome to futures.io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

@jeffman does Sierra Charts show the actual entries and exits on their charts? Why do we not see those? Second, is your strategy using MTF at all? How do you define your strategy?

They are there. They are small triangles next to the entry on the bar. Next posts I will see about making them bigger. Sorry, no details will be disclosed on my strategy.

How much are you selling your system for?

"Free markets work because they allow people to be lucky, thanks to aggressive trial and error, not by giving rewards or incentives for skill. The strategy is, then, to tinker as much as possible and try to collect as many Black Swan opportunities as you can"

I circled the entry and exit signals so you can see the triangles.

You don't need to give out your strategy. But what is the strategy based on? RSI? Stoch? Bolinger? Moving Averages?
Can you share a bit more so there are at least some lessons learned beyond bragging rights? Not sure your goal in sharing just entries/exits, not sure how that helps the community. I also thought you were trying to sell something.
