Welcome to futures.io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

I am afraid that is quite incomplete and why I believed you might benefit from a full run through. Its a pity you feel that way but I understand why.

Im not a "witchfinder general" type but I have an excellent memory and so Im not too shabby at trading or anything really. At 16-18 I ran a very profitable specialist IT company. I see the brains in the kid. I see the worries of being able to think rings around normal minds also as he matures.

I run a volunteer homeless charity here among other projects besides trading. I would love to find its all a big misunderstanding but you know what? I have a pregnant and hepatitis infected 16 year old girl to home today. Not a self-inflicted situation and enough time has been spent now.

Sorry that you passed a chance to clear it up somewhat and help him recover (or not) some reputation if it matters this much to you, but I guess you have your reasons.

Im done then, best of luck Alex.

I don't think that you're a witchfinder and I do believe your intentions are good. I do respect you and your decisions and I appreciate your willingness to offer your time to explain your reasoning. Hat's off to you not only for your contributions to this to community, but also for your contributions to society. It doesn't go unnoticed.

Hire that free roofer and see what happens. NOTHING IS FREE!!!! THERE IS NO FREE LUNCH!!! Only scammers working their magic to sucker you in for the kill.

The great thing is that nobody is forcing you to hire that roofer and you are free to determine if he offers anything of value to you. If not, you are free to move on.

Sorry I missed all this was away on a trip but after reading many of the threads and the evidence by Rory I agree with Mikes ban I guess lesson learned for the future no more members promoting anything unless as vendor status

Sent from my iPhone using futures.io mobile app

The wisest thing would seem to be to assume vendor status for anything that has any possible promotional aspect. That would simply eliminate all these issues, and bring it all under the normal vendor non-promotion rules.

I assume the lesson has been well-learned by all.

Bob.

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.
