I started full time trading 5 month's ago, and part time trading (2 hours p/d) forex/gold since March, 2015. Currently exclusively trade HSI ( HangSeng Index futures) full time.

Opening this journal and try to record my steps in trading career.

I'll add more details with myself and my tradings later on.

Toady's trading performance was pretty bad. Profit loss was over -200 ticks, market went very choppy today since it's close to key resistance area and bear force still watch for a better chance to trap all bulls.

Even Though the bad performance, finally I have understood something. When I walked with my wife this afternoon, I talked about today's market and my thinking about the market. I told her trading is not about price rising or falling, when price rising like a rocket or fall as a stone, it shouldn't bother you if your system doesn't generate a signal.

Market always try to deceive you, sorry I describe it as "deceive". Since most of the time, when market has medium to low volume after open hour, the market went up and down and trap me in countless times. Market counter partners always intent to trap as many as they can to rob you money, the only way to defend is to find their patterns to sneak in, and move out with toes ... I'd like to describe it as mosquitos suck your blood silently and escape without a notice.

I believe this is "Stage Two" of what many trading wizards said, "When you see a mountain, it's not a mountain, and when you see a river, it's not a river".

I put this in words as I would like to remember today as a milestone of my trading career. A long way ahead for my trading, my system is far from perfect and I still got millions of troubles of controlling my emotions when trading.

I didn't follow my trading method today ... again.

My brain wasn't fast enough to process fast moving market, and I am good at the time when market slows down. I have removed breakout trades from my trading system, but I still have impulse to enter market when market rise/fall freely.

From hindsight, the trades were quite obvious, but my bad habit is to trade against the market ... so the result is obvious as well.
Market rose 150 ticks without resistance, but price was falling heavily yesterday, so I sell when a buy climax bar shows up

It turns out a trending pause ( I call the small trading range trend pause). The trade itself wasn't too bad, just trade against the trend, but I did it again when another climax bar showed up ... a vicious circle ...
