@Kowabunga thank you for your thoughtful answer. It surely took me many many times to re-read that.

Calling it a day. I don't like what I see in ES, and ZB can't make up his mind, tried to get my limit filled twice for 3 and 2 ticks gain but never got filled, so closing the last trade for breakeven. Overall good day and worked out ok.

I downloaded a free indicator after somebody saying it on the new tread, interesting indicator I might say this "rainbow".

Calling it a day....I broke my rule on ZB for my last trade. I need to stop and regroup. The reason I didn't close the position on the last trade because I see big buying frenzy and I have conviction that it will go back, it turn out ok at the end, it did, but how about if it didn't? I would have regretted it more if it went down further, so therefore I'm calling it a day before the old habit becoming stronger and ingrain in my head again.

Going to the mining site tomorrow morning and will be back on Thursday night, so I will try to do quick trade on lunch if I see opportunities. Not looking forward going there since the town is a dead town and they only have 1 café for meal, but I have to do what I have to do.

Don't really have enough time to find a good opportunity, so don't have position, might not be able to do it for the next 3 days. But here's a pic at the plant that I'm at now showing preheater, stack, and the kiln...hope you guys find it interesting

Had some time for quick here and there around lunch time. Took another pic of the plant if anybody interested to see it...definitely tiring to go up there, but the breeze helped

Signed up for another crack of TST 30k today, started the day late, but today ZB didn't really give good opportunity imo, trying to force the trade and it didn't work. ES is where the action was. I am still lacking of experience in futures but I feel I'm almost there and I need to keep pushing.

Calling it a day. I will share the TST screenshot later tonight.

OK, did baddddd today. Almost reach my blew up $500 limit on the combine and had to call it a day. So this week goal is to break even and just keep plugging it away.

Started the day great on ZB for 4 ticks, I've been looking for an entry for ES but couldn't find what I liked. Forcing the trade and not having a good stop limit order was not good. Had a chance to close the day with a breakeven day, but keep making mistake after mistake. So lets regroup and try again tomorrow.

Hate to admit, but it's pretty embarrassing, making the same mistake all over again lol

OK, lets start the year continuing my journal since mid September. Been practicing michaelleemoore's strategy w/ hit and miss. So I changed a bit on the strategy to fit my style.

2-4-2 unirenko
2 contracts: 1 for 3 tick target and 1 for a runner w/ 5 ticks trailing stop (starts when the 3 ticks hit).

I come to realization that I just keep holding the loser more and more w/o tight stop, and in the end I kept blowing my combine because I just can't accept a loser.

Today would be my 3rd or 4th (not sure anymore) 30k combine attempt (w/ already 2x reset on this one in 2 days...jeez). Way too hard headed not using the strategy on the first 2 tries. I will take another break and regroup if I blow up this one.

The drawdown w/ the strategy that I'm using is I can't have 2 back to back losing trades (-$200) on the 1st 2 trades which is my own daily loss limit.

1st day: 45 RT (lol) : $550, Net: $325 (if w/ $5 fee/RT)

Got stopped out 3x, got some 6, 7, and 10 gain, and a lot of 0, 1, 2, and 3s.

I haven't given up yet, but at the same time I don't hope too much either. It's definitely a hard game!
