Good work,

CL is a beast, congrats on taming it...

I understand your focus has been on mindset, belief and confidence and not strategy or systems, that's my focus too, but I was curious given the size of your losing trades, and the different position sizes on your trades...

What's your position and risk management style?

Are you scaling in and out, all in all out, averaging down or pyramiding, scalping around a core position, using a stop loss and if so, trailing it? Flexible exits or targets?

Also, what hours are you trading CL?

Hope you won't mind my questions

Regards,

David.

Thanks David.

I don't mind at all. I am pretty much all in all out. I use discretion on my stop management and when I take myself out. Just depends on how the order flow looks once I get in. As far as sizing goes, that too is a bit of a gut thing. I have not gone over 2 contracts this combine because I wanted to use the same scaling plan they give when live. If I feel like it is a good trade I will do 2 contracts, if I am not as confident or do not want to risk profits for the day I will do 1. I pretty much just trade during NY session.

Hey all,
I have a big weekend coming up (family fun time!) so I decided to just make one scratch trade just to keep TST moving forward. I will trade for real next week though. Have a great weekend!

Hi everyone,
although I was planning on full on trading the rest of the combine even though I already hit the goals, I decided that based on my day job demands, and the holidays, I am just going to scratch through the rest of this to save the time. I will start trading full on again when I get to the next stage with top step (live trade prep) and will start the daily updates again at that time. Hope you all have a great holiday!

I believe it is a joke told by Branson.

Warren Buffet used to say that too...then he bought a few airlines last week.

BTW, we used to hear about "airport trades" on the floors. A local would put a big trade going into a number and head to the airport. If the trade worked out, they come back, if it went against them, hop a plane to never be seen again.

Hi everyone,
...

I have been fortunate enough to work close with a coach over the past year and he does not even trade anymore.
It is because of the inner work that I have turned the corner I have in day trading, not because of anything outside of myself.

...

Hi Hunter,

What kind of inner work are we talking here? I personally need some inner work too but sometimes i also feel like i don't know what i don't know in regards to what i should really be concentrating on.

If you don't mind answering, i'd like to know what kind of problems you had and what kind of things you did or what you became aware of that helped in coming to the conclusion(s) that helped you "turn the corner."

If my question is prying to deep and you choose not to answer, i totally understand and accept that.

Either way, thanks in advance.
