My new theme song for all this analysis is...

Here's the latest update, just one pic, a trade summary from last one until today. I had to scale out of the crappy CL long to maintain margin overnight. (Remember, I think of every position I enter as being at 75K initial balance to be conservative, not the cumulative balance).

This one could be painful, might have to ditch the whole CL position(s). This one could sting a lot. :-( *sighs* But live cows are helping buffer it!!! Yay, I love cows!

Basically, here is what I am looking at. With $75K initial cash in account ( I used to think of 90K initial cash, but became more conservative), these positions are safe on overnight margin from CME and broker...

Yep, it's really starting to sting now. Pic of today's moves, along with current open posits. Even the win on cows could not help get me to margin requirements for the overnight. Ow ow ow.

But I had to bite the bullet and be it, because with $75K I HAD to shave it off.

Sheet, it hurt, like a lot.

Two more pics...First is a Monte Carlo over 10,000 simulations with current number of trades in the period from 4/16/2016 until today, 07/28. It stands at 306.

Second is just the profit graph.

Dunno' what to make of all of this yet. There is still some math I am missing somewhere.

I finally discovered that what I thought in my head would jive in live could happen in RL outside of sim, and it has happened for real. Here's the basic pic of the broker statement in live. This position is still open as of this timestamp. In a short MGC, a very low-risk instrument for testing. The other sim positions from earlier in the journal I had to close at major loss because they were distracting me from live account focus. I'll post those final sim pics later on. For now I need to focus on the live. Now it's getting gnarly. And I really didn't want to get into a 3-4 week situation with my first live trade after a year off, but alas. I asked for it in a way, and I got it.

That's the pain of a trading plan I guess. Gotta' roll with it. *le sigh*

There are no charts to show, not really, since this first bit is a broker/CME test. The NLV values at bottom of chart can be explained at another time.

Focus focus focus. It's live. Don't fuk it up.

Stick with the plan.

Don't waffle.

Use intuition and lessons learned.

Don't fuk it up.

Buns of steel.

Do NOT waver from the trading plan.

OMG this is so bloody difficult.

Latest music I be using to help me (because it has decent bass in it)

Sorry folks, I'm feeling a bit loopy. I am seeing pretty colors. Open trades live for a week take their toll on the mind. So sorry.

K, here are the final results of that nasty Sim CL I was in from previous post, pic follows from last trade summary. It got bloody bad. If it was a 75K account, I would be in a world of hurt.

Here's the live trade in MGC which took a week to suffer through. I now finally understand, through the broker statements, what is going on. I get it now regarding overnight positions.

*whew*
