Three trades. A full winner, a small winner and a loser. I did not have the recorder on today so screens only.
6B trade
The Pound has been dipping and took the low that was formed at the open. Took the short at the CWAP with 3 lots. Missed the 2:1 target by 2 ticks and got stopped out.
After the fact screen:
6J trade
The Yen has been declining for the past six days. In the morning it continued further down. Took the short at CWAP with 2 lots. Got the 2:1 target with the first contract. The second one was stopped at the currentmost swing VWAP.
6J trade
After the decline the Yen seemed to form a double bottom opportunity. Took the long position at transition VWAP with 4 lots. My initial stop was 4 ticks. Got the 2:1 (8 ticks), 3:1 (12 ticks) targets as well as the last target at the swing VWAP.
6E trade
The Euro has been ranging all morning. In the afternoon a double top seemed to form. No break came so I took the short at what seemed to be a transition. Got the 2:1 target quickly but the rest was stopped at break-even.
6J trade
There was no real movement in the Yen as well in the morning. In the afternoon an opportunity including a triple bottom seemed to form. Took the long position after a rotation. Full stop.
6E trade
The Euro has been in a decline since yesterday’s report activity. When it came back to swing CWAP which was also the current session high I took a short. This one was quick. I could not even move my stop one tick back. Anyway a full loss.
After the fact screen:
6B trade
The Pound has been as well as the Euro in a decline since yesterday’s report. Took a short at CWAP. Stopped as well.
After the fact screen:
6J trade
The Yen has continued in a decline in the morning. After taking a previous low I took a short at CWAP. Stopped at VWAP.
6E trade
The Euro broke a support zone. Took the short at the breakout VWAP. Got the 2:1. Unfortunately stopped with the rest at break-even (just to the tick).
After the fact screen:
6J trade
Took a short at CWAP from the current session high price. Stopped with price pullback.
6B trade
I tried to play the double top pattern. Unfortunately, one more whip against the resistance stopped me out.
After the fact screen:
6J trade
The Yen was in a slow and steady rise in the morning. The swing took the overnight high over so I tried to play the CWAP. Took long at the pullback with 3 lots. With a bit of luck the price got to my 2:1 and 3:1 targets.
6B trade
Break of a support led me to a CWAP trade. I was stopped at VWAP. The market had to go three more ticks before turning the right way.
After the fact screen:
6E trade
I tried to play the 9 o’clock transition. The price was forming a triple bottom formation. Took the long after a transition. Stopped.
6E trade
The Euro has dipped down to a previous transition level. I tried to play a double bottom pattern as it it seemed to make a nice transition. Quick stop. After the stop yet another transition seemed to happen so I took long once again at the same spot. Same result.
6J trade
The Yen broke previous two transition lows. Took the CWAP short. The price rotated but then stopped me out.
6J trade
The move that stopped me in the previous trade was so strong I decided to jump on at CWAP. Unfortunately the price had to go even deeper. Stopped at VWAP.
6J trade
The last Yen trade was a bet on a triple bottom formation. Took the long at transition VWAP. Stopped below the value.
After the fact screen (for all three trades):
6E trade
The Euro bounced of a double bottom and took a range high. Took long at CWAP. This time I could not watch the fourth loss in a row to come so I took one lot of at 10 ticks. The rest was stopped.
After the fact screen:
6B trade
The Pound broke a consolidation. The bet was it would go down to yesterday’s low. Took the short at CWAP and stopped out.
6E trade
The Euro broke the overnight range and made a session low. After the pullback the price was not able to continue in a downtrend. A double bottom formation seemed to form. Took a long from the transition VWAP. Got the 2:1 and 3:1 targets. The last lot was stopped at VWAP.
After the fact screen:
6J trade
The Yen made a significant and steep move after the London open. Took a long at CWAP. Stopped.
After the fact screen:
6B trade
The Pound seemed to form a double bottom pattern. Took a long at transition VWAP. The market made a stop-run before taking off in my direction.
6B trade
The move from the previous trade made a pullback to the CWAP. Took the long and got the 2:1 and 3:1 targets. Last lot stopped at VWAP.
