It's kind of making spirals but need your help in defining ratio's. I can see 1.1618 is one of the ratio but what are the other ratios on your chart?

Thanks for the help.

You may have a look at the very long wikipedia page here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fibonacci_number

Very interesting - even for traders not using indicators

PLEASE - be aware on how to use the spiral clockwise / counter clockwise.
This info can be found at the beginning of this thread.

Just came across this fascinating thread. However the reference above is way above my abilities to create a spiral.
Is there any indicator for spirals (not circles) for use with NT 7

Keep up the great wok.

Thanks Don Laing - unfortunately from my inputs from different members
there is no NT 7/8 fib circle spiral indicator. I am using RT/Investor from
Linnsoft (Win & Mac) to see those spirals.

One has to be aware that the spirals only work on 1:1 charts - no skewing allowed.

Good trades

Watch the chart of the DAX future 30m until today in the link given:
There are two spirals - the first one counter- clockwise and the second
clockwise. The tomorrow path is already given: down along the current
spiral and crossing red cloud.
You will see

Thanks, are you using default settings for spirals or customized Fib levels? I don't have spirals in Multicharts but it does have Arcs so trying to mimic the spiral settings. I can use normal fib levels but just want to verify with you once.

Is this same as fib arc?

Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk

Yup, spiral is different than arc.

Here the two yellow lines are set up as a trend channel...the intersecting Fibo circles on each can give possible chart points to monitor...

There are no special levels to choose from: in fact the fib spiral is "given on all levels". You only have to decide
if clockwise or counter clockwise (which is given from long or short).
Please read the wiki article some posts back and then you see how this indi works...
Not to compare with the normal Fibonacci indi where you can select your levels.
