So, I was long for example GOLD, my stop was in place. Then short setup appeared, I placed order and it was filled.
Result was that I was short small position ( let say I was long 10, and then short 14, so result is short 4) and after that still have stop for long in place and stop for new short.
At this AP, I manually sold 10, meaning I exited my long campaign, and removed stop for long. And currently I am short 14, and having stop on original place for that short.
You can do this also if you have 2 accounts, so you can be long in one and short in other.

I like following this thread, I have a few questions. To do this realistically you would need two accounts with 50 thousand each I would assume? Maybe not that much but the bigger the account the better, and it looks like you are straddling/hedging your positions so that your winners will cover your loss's. Is there a reason you chose these three?
Do you pay attention to Risk on and off in the market? and do you ever find you get some nice runners on all three at the same time.
Regarding accounts, no need for having two. I have just one. Account sizing is important, but not crucial. As I am showing here that there are possibilities to trade markets even with smaller account (not using futures - for now).
Sometimes it happens that system has position in one market, and then on next AP there is setup in opposite direction of first position. Order is then placed, and if filled, then initial position is affected. If system was long, and then sell setup appeared, and sell order placed and filled, it can happen three things.
Position is now net long (if size of long was larger than short), net short (if size of short was larger than long), or squared (long and short were same size).
I am using IB as broker, and at IB positions are netted. At some other brokers you can be long and short at same time. And this in my system is not meant to be hedging. It is just following system.
What is also possible, is to move stop of long position from example above to entry position of sell order when sell setup appears. In that case long would be exited, and system will have just short position open.
Regarding choosing markets, no particular reason, if you think about correlations, no I didn't investigate that. It is nice (easy) to trade 3 different markets, and chances are that not all three will be in same phase, and that means smoother ride.
Risk on or off, no idea where and how to follow that. News, other people opinions..?
This system is just simple, 3 markets, and 2 AP on which little work is needed. During day no need to check markets and look for news or statistical figures.
Regarding runners, they can happen, and also losses can happen, but that is no big deal, as one day or one campaign should not have huge impact at the long run, as you can see from my post about backtest results.
