Yes.
This way my thoughts are captured and it doesn't take me much time to update the journal.
Writing down what I think at that moment also helps me in assessing the situation objectively (with exception of today).

Thanks. I write my thoughts but I always do it post-trade and I think it loses some value. It seems the way you do it captures more value.

Documenting my thoughts/analysis helps me to keep the monkey away and remain objective.

I also like to believe that it is of value for other people interested in my journal.
Not sure if that's true, but atleast it's a complete record of my trading session.

I don't know what your focus will be, but in terms of trading, the things that you consider while you do your morning prep, and then how you adapt as the market unfolds, would be interesting.

But it's your webinar. Talk about your dog as much as you like.

Bob.

1) How you have kept a journal religiously and the stats you keep monthly to justify changes

2) How you incorporated new ideas into your trading
~ Trading levels
~ Ditching Information Confirmation Need
~ VWAP and the Opening Range as a contextual tool

3) How you use a Thesis to get in- how you are beginning to "press" a trade with an additional contract and how that helps relax (i.e. take a profit let one run)

4) Most important - How do you view the markets now that you trade with context vs the way you traded before?
~ Are you more confident?
~ Does your chart type (1 min, 5 min, volume based, etc) even matter to you? Could you look at any chart of intraday action and trade from it now?

5) What impact has monitoring internals had on your performance, psychology or both together

There's an easy 20 minutes!!

I am pleased that @GruttePier will be presenting a webinar on Tuesday, June 21st @ 4:30PM Eastern US.

He will talk about his trading process and answer questions from members.

You can register for the event here:
https://futures.io/webinars/#registernow

Mike

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.
6)
Help using the forum? Watch this video to learn general tips on using the site.
