Although the cheetah is the fastest animal in the world and can catch any animal on the plains, it will wait until it is absolutely sure it can catch its prey. It may hide in the bush for a week, waiting for just the right moment. It will wait for a baby antelope, and not just any baby antelope, but preferably one that is also sick or lame. Only then, when there is no chance it can lose its prey, does it attack. That, to me, is the epitome of professional trading.

That's something I have in my head after a good day and to make sure I'll always have good day's I'll re-read my cliff notes from trading/self help books.
Here is my daily routine so that it's out there and I'll feel more responsible for taking the actions I SAID I WOULD.
An overview plan or strategy for getting or having what you want:
I begin my day with a glass of water and yoga.
Then I値l meditate for half an hour/hour and when I知 done with all this I値l eat a great breakfast and take a powernap (yes. First powernap already) no more than 15-20min
Then I gym/go for a walk/run for 30-60min and after that I begin with my work.
I値l analyze and make comments for the day about the market and get in if I see good opportunities. My aim isn稚 limited only my stops are (never more than I can handle losing).
Then when I知 done with that I値l eat lunch and take my second powernap or duolingo for an hour/ journal.
The rest of the day I may do whatever I like and hobbies I壇 like to keep in my life are reading books and physical activities such as volleyball, squash, soccer, swimming etc.
8pm at the latest is when I journal my day here if I've traded and in my home journal if I haven't already.
I will do this for the next thirty days to come and I'll also start a youtube channel if anyone's interested which isn't much prepared yet
(Let me know if I can't announce this here. I'll edit it out)
Integrity is #1 priority for me and so if I break my word I'll give $500 to a charity I don't support and show the receipt in a picture. I'm not 100% sure it will come to this but I believe it's good to have it written in case it does.
patience could of saved me -550 today. Because once the market was moving it didn't look back. Oh and patience could of gotten much more today too. Which means that I did just GREAT in leaving without looking back. Today's the third and last of my sim day trading.
Reason I have sim traded past 3 days is that I broke the rule that keeps me consistently profitable on Monday. So I had to show consistent profits in sim for 3 days with the exact same trading rules as live trading. 500+ is my goal and I may not leave the market with a bigger loss than -300 a day. And if I hit the 500 mark I have to leave AT LEAST 500 when I stop trading for the day.
Also: day 1 of the 30 day challenge is complete already
No live trades today because I'm not in tune with the market. I start my days by looking for what may happen and put in a few sim trades then.. Everyday up to this day I've made at least 500+ on sim and stopped. But not this day.
See you on Monday, I'll be back to journal then. (I don't take weekends off my daily routine I only start with it later on weekend days).
I'm so thankful for having come this far so fast and feel like I learn so much this past week that it could easily fill a book once I get better at writing my thoughts. I'm not yet where I want to be but I believe that I'm on the right path to consistent profit as a trader.
There have been some mayor changes in my trading style this week and those are:
When I reach above 500 my new max loss limit is +500
I stop for the day and continue on sim when I get two losses in a row.
The reason I feel so thankful is that I've survived 20 days of live trading and I've performed far better than I expected. And I have done enough trades to know that my edge works. The majority of the trades I've lost are because they're traded AFTER 2 losses. Thus breaking one of my rules (I've always had it) and put me in a desperation mood where everything I touch seem to turn against me. The best trade I ever did was on 3/12 and I took it after my greatest profit trade up to that point. I was filled with gratitude when I took the trade and it shocked me with a new record trade.
This is my longest entry so far and I'm glad I took the time with it. I just checked my trading results as a whole and found out that I'm only profitable on TF and 6E + M6E overall. Although NQ makes most profit it also takes most losses. I have much to learn still. I will trade TF next week. I'll take a break from NQ and see how it goes.

To keep my promise of posting before 8pm I will post before any trading has taken place. I'll update today's trades later because I haven't watched the charts today yet.
Today is day 5/30 of the challenge and so far so good, I had the routine of yoga and meditation as first thing in the morning already from before so this isn't a big change in my daily routine. I realized I forgot to mention that earlier. Anyhow. Hope you're all having a great holiday .
I will change my journal update time to before 10pm because I have night time routine with my daughter around 8pm and will focus on that then.
Today's trade's have been sort of OK. I will change my stop to 2p and risk/reward to 1:1 for two first trades and then 2:1 for the next two trades and see what happens. (I've been too early in the trades today)
Today has been a day of giving. Gave away my wardrobe and only things I left there can fit in my backpack. (I'm going on a journey soon) When I went to the fugitive camp they were so nice and warm and all they wanted was to spend time with me and I felt so much love. I took three of them to a second hand store nearby. I realized as we sat talking in the car that it's not about the amount of money/stuff I give that makes me feel like a giver but the time spent learning and socializing that lasts. So I gave them all the tips and tricks I know to get by on very little money in Finland. I'm glad I had the experience so early on in my life and that I can share it here even though it's a trading forum hehe.
Oh about trading. I have only watched the charts for maybe 20 minutes today and haven't even taken a sim trade (I didn't see any opportunities because it was pre- market open). I will continue this challenge on a daily basis after the holidays. I still do my morning and lunch routines but I'm having a hard time prioritizing charts right now.
