Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

Bigger picture does look like a screaming short (I know I know...), this is what I am seeing on breadth and internals but we are in earnings season and FED on deck (this never ending manipulation) makes it tough to hold onto any biases specially bearish.

Bear side argument

1. Deteriorating breadth and internals
2. Weakness in Nasdaq

Bull side argument

1. They have secret to fountain of youth
2. FOMC
3. Earnings season

I don't have levels from my charts, I want to say short YM at 17080 (I may even try that) but I am not sure.

Futures Edge on FIO
I freaking need damn volatility else I can't survive this trading.

Today good day

Oil (QM) - 48 ticks (reached my PT of 44is but didn't wait)
NQ - 16.75 points. (reached my PT of ON_L bud again didn't wait)

I have to make pact to myself not to go against my method or trend. It only works in volatility, other times not much.

Bear argument is gone out of window now, thanks to FOMC bulls get elixir again...

CL, YM bullish on all levels
NQ bullish on intraday bearish on daily level.

Note to self - I have to be very careful with counter trend trades, there is an idea JUST DON'T TAKE IT STUPID

LOL, markets got antidote to that high from an unthinkable source i.e BOJ, remember BOJ's actions are always bullish to the market but not this time.

CL is bullish so have to look for pull backs for entries

NQ is bullish on intraday level and bearish on daily level so be cautious

YM is bearish on intraday level and bullish on daily level but softening

Today it's all about reaction to BOJ news except overnight so far it's not that much specially on NQ maybe because it was oversold already before that.

@Inletcap do yo recommend this book by Dorsey?

I want to learn more about price action using PF charts.

Thanks

Another freaking great day (much needed one)

Was busy all morning so didn't get a chance to watch charts and didn't put limit order as I should have but got bulk of the move in the afternoon

Trade-1
Short NQ for 2 points (This NQ moves damn fast, I should have holded on to this)

Trade-2
Short YM for 138 points (I was 20 points late but that's ok as I decided not go against my method)

Trade-3
Short oil (QM) at 46.025 - Still holding this short, my expectation is weakness will spill to oil also
Stop - trailing stop of 1 point.
