just a few notes im adding to my journal...

'theoretical trading' can be useful in other ways...

using it ('tt')

we can do other 'theoretical' (with the ability to be simply implemented in reality) trading 'things'..

for instance:

we can tie the value of what we are trading (the market (or any market variable) for instance) into any other value...

if that sounds crazy please remember that bitcoin (and hundreds of other crypto currencies) are already doing that...

although in a less theoretical (extreme) way...

for instance a more theoretical approach might place current value on actual future value...

in this way a truly secure market (or currency, thing, etc) could be theoretically created....

Do I see a fellow lisper ?

----------------------------------------------------------------------

i was un inspired by lisp...

what that means is that although i wish my ((0)process) were inspired by lisp

i didn't even realize lisp existed until recently...

so although lisp (as i now know it) is inspiring to me...

it didn't used to be (before i knew about it) ...

or you could say i used to be un inspired by lisp...

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Although i can't say my goal is AI

the ((0)process) could produce an I (intelligent) 'thing' ..

----------------------------------------------------------------------

How familiar with lisp are you?

Not an expert, just dabbling in it wishing I started my programming experience with it (I found Racket to be great environment to start lisp with great potential especially in the realm of Domain Specific Languages).

Back to the topic - I believe your theory could be easily tested via strategy backtest or indicator. Have you attempted such verification?

Since this is theoretical thread I am not sure how much would you care about practical aspect of the theory applied to trading.

Although I have a soft spot for simple algorithms I would be concerned with commission costs that could eat you even if the theory is correct.

i would be extremely grateful for and fascinated
with all the results produced by
any and all tools (strategy backtest or indicator)
that could be created with this theory in mind...
