What a dive!
Such vola is extreme.
Will see if we can ride a Wiener Walzer...

Any common economic release reasons for that?

normal release of this morning was that the german economy rose 1,5% last year...

BUT: Swiss National Bank now had skipped the minimum EUR/CHF rate of 1.20
and put a negative 0,75% rate on money hosted by them...

We will see soon see what are the main reasons.

Best to sit on hands or put hard stops - otherwise a account can be wiped out in 5 minutes!

Best advice today! I guess even the stop order slippage would make you cry like a child. Violent move, really.

Cash hours
High 9958.5

Max points: 376 in the future

This makes many coming days difficult to trade
Be aware!

The good thing of such a shake out:

Some investors in the markets have been set aside (bad for them..)
but the market will have a bit less speculators and pricing will be
more market adequate.

Hoping to see the German Dax to develop more predictable than what
we have seen during the last months.

Just my personal view.

Thanks very much for doing this.

When you do your research, do you look to see if there are different patterns at the DAX and New York opening times?

I am just looking at the Dax and follow if a pattern is showing up.
Only difference to my other journal is that here we can watch patterns forming during futures opening - means
longer than cash hours.
