What I learned:
1) On days with ECB or IFO numbers - some patterns start - but give negative points.
NEW RULE ADD: NO trade on ECB or IFO day!
GFIs1

So today too - even if it worked

Today - just theoretically - while Draghi's speech I checked patterns for a Walzer:

entry short @ 11166
exit 1h later @ 10949
result 217 points
from there - pattern already broken - so NO long

As example tells, the full Walzer was not developing.

Just to explain difficult news days.

BUT one thing we learned today (if taking any trades):

The trend is your friend!

This weekend I took the time time to program the Walzer rules.
Just not finished yet I try to see ALL patterns that worked in the last 12 months.
As I did not take all of them. I will backtest and if the result is here we will see
what GFIs1 missed

But anyway:
I do not like to sit at the screen all day to wait for a nice upcoming pattern:
So I program it to send me a message on my phone before I need take action.

Looking forward to easy collected points

Yesterday evening I missed a nice Walzer -
just to comment here: started short entry 17:30 to 18:30
then turned long to 19:30.

Points on short 84 and on long 6
Not counted here as I did not take it

Hi,

can you please remind me your rules for aborting the second leg of the walzer?

For now for example, first leg was profitable, why is the pattern broken and therefor abort short?

Thanks,
alex

Easy: ALL four candles from the first (with >50 points body) need to have the same color. If one is not showing this
then no follow-up trade is allowed.
The Walzer consists of four consecutive same color candles and two opposite color candles to a full double trade.
If the pattern is not like described I call it "pattern broken".
