Not much time this Friday due to family obligations.

#7 Entry: 22:48 (local time) Long at 2026.00 SL-12, TP-18
Exit: 23:00 at 2027.75: +1.75P

Even so, just before calling it a day, I spoted a nice setup on the 15m chart - Stocastic crossed above the 30 line, both DMI lines changed direction, so entered a long position.
I have the regular exit set up: SL- 12 ticks, PT - 18 ticks, and trailing stop kicking in at 10 ticks, trailing 3 ticks behind.

After few minutes, the trailing stop level reached, and shortly after, the trailing stop was caught. Profit of 7 ticks. The best the trade could have given is 12 ticks, about a minute after my position was closed, so maybe not the best, but not bad.

Daily summary - +1.75 p.

Weekly summary:
7 trades
2 winners
5 loosing
Net Total P/L: -5.25 p (-262.5$ before commissions).
Total P/L (assuming 4.5$ RT commission): -294$

#1 Entry: 17:47 Long at 2031.50
Exit: 17:47 at 2031.75: +0.5P

while still in profit - this was a total mistake - wanted to enter short and entered long instead - newbie mistake.
Reveresed the position (in market)

#2 Entry: 17:47 Short at 2031.75
Exit: 17:55 at 2033.75: -2P

entered based on resistance level, but no other signal. SL was caught.

One last trade from Nov. 10th (didn't had a chance to update the thread in real-time, but updated my local journal):

#3 Entry: 20:58 (Nov. 10th) Short at 2031.00
Exit: 21:10 at 2033.00: -2P

Got the right signals for short, but missed the start of the movements, and entered too late.

On Nov. 11th, only one trade, close to the EoD for me:
#4 Entry: 22:00 (Nov. 10th) Long at 2033.00 SL=8, TP=12 ticks
Exit: 22:40 at 2035.00: +2P

entered based on Long signal, and reaching support level.
after ~15 minutes, decided to reduce the TP to 8 ticks, as the market hardly moved, and it seemed like a more reasonable target based on the market movement in the prev. few hours.
Wanted to make sure I close the position before EoD.

I'm trying to watch also the 6E & M6E in the last few days, and today placed my first simulated trade on the M6E.
The reasoning behind, is that this contract might fit as a first to try with real money - smaller risks, very active during earlier hours for me (this is good and bad, as I do work in the morning).

#6 M6E - Entry: 12:43 Long at 1.2464 SL=10, TP=15 ticks
Exit: 13:15 at 1.2471: +7 ticks

Entered based on Stoc & DMI signal, but a bit late.
Added trailing stop at some point, to kick in at 8 ticks, with distance of 4. price was dashing for a while but than broke up. Trailing stop kicked in. price dashed again, and Stop was filled. +7 ticks - not much, but at least a profit. later the price rocked up of course.

#7 ES - Entry: 15:37 Long at 2027.25 SL=8, TP=12 ticks, trailing stop - start at 8 ticks distance 3.
Exit: 15:44 at 2028.75: +6 ticks

Placed a Long limit on support level, and just waited
only still have an issue if to use trailing stop or not.(the market reached up to 11 ticks from entry price few minutes later)

#7 6E - Entry: 11:40 Short at 1.2464 SL=6, TP=10 ticks
Exit: 15:44 at 1.2470: -6 ticks

Entered following DMI + Stoch. signal. Price dropped 8 ticks, but than turned up.
Was tempered to move the SL to profit (while was in 6-7 ticks profit), but hold back.
Ended up losing 6 ticks.

#8 ES - Entry: 13:44 Short at 2042.25 SL=6, TP=10 ticks. Trailing stop - 7ticks, distance 3.
Exit: 15:44 at 2041.25: +4 ticks

nice signal. This time I did set a trailing stop, which was filled.

I'm not sure what is better. using TS, my wins are usually smaller than the ratio I would like, but it definitely cut some loses off.

#9 ES - Entry: 16:28 Long at 2037.00 SL=6, TP=10 ticks. TS=7,3
Exit: 16:36 at 2039.25: +9 ticks

Was moving the TP after the trailing started, but ended up filling the TS at 9 ticks.

#10 ES - Entry: 21:10 Long at 2030.25 SL=6, TP=10 ticks. TS=7,3
Exit: 21:13 at 2028.75: -6 ticks

Wasn't focused enough, and didn't notice the Stoch. didn't cross the line, and was only close to it. Wrong entry.
Decided to stop trading for the day.
Of course, few minutes later, the entry signal was real, and price went up nicely, but I watched from the sideline.

#11 6E - Entry: 08:51 Long at 1.2440 SL=6, TP=10 ticks. TS=7,3
Exit: 09:00 at 1.2450: +10 ticks

Nice entry signal. Price dashed for few minutes, but than went up fast.
Wanted to try to move TP up, but it was too fast. Still - nice trade to start the day with.

#12 6E - Entry: 15:59 Long at 1.2416 SL=6, TP=10 ticks. TS=7,3
Exit: 16:05 at 1.2410: -6 ticks

#13 6E - Entry: 18:11 Short at 1.2472 SL=6, TP=10 ticks. TS=7,3
Exit: 18:22 at 1.2471: +1 ticks

Price went till profit was +7, but TS didn't kick in. after price started to go up, moved manually the SL to +1, which was filled (and price continued to go up, so would have lost more).

#12 6E - Entry: 21:10 Long at 1.2532 SL=6, TP=10 ticks. TS=7,3
Exit: 21:14 at 1.2541: -6 ticks

So, few days without much time to write here (but did track in my local journal).

First - week #2 of my simulated trading ended up:

ES:
Trades: 8
Wins: 5
losses: 3
PnL: +1.5P (65$, but commissions are ~36$, so very minor profit on ES)

6E:
Trades: 5
Wins: 2
Losses: 3
PnL: -1.75P (-82.5$, and with 5.5$ a trade commission this will be -110$)

M6E:
single wining trade - 1.75P. probably zeroed by commissions.

So total is still a negative week, but better than the first week definitely.

I'll start a new post for this week's trades

Each day saw only a single trade:

Nov. 18th.
#1 ES Entry: 21:52 Short at 2052.25 SL=8, TP=12, TS=(7,3)
Exit: 23:00 at 2050.50: +1.75P

After a large up trend, I tired to catch on the way down. Worked quite well. Trailing stop was filled. I'm still not sure if TS is good or bad with a single contract.

Nov. 19th:
#2 ES Entry: 21:30 Short at 2044.75 SL=8, TP=12, TS=(7,3)
Exit: 21:37 at 2043.25: +1.50P

Entered based on Stoch + DMI short signal. TS filled again.

#3 ES Entry: 12:24 Long at 2038.50 SL=8, TP=12, Set breakeven to kick in at 7 ticks, and placed at +2 ticks.
Exit: 13:31 at 2039.00: +0.5P

Profit went up till +9ticks, but back and exit on +2 (the BE level). Maybe TS is a good idea

#4 6E Entry: 15:37 Long at 1.2515 SL=8, TP=12, TS = (8,4)
Exit: 13:31 at 1.2526 : +11 Ticks

catch it on the lower point, trading up. Moved the TP up a bit. If I wouldn't I would have closed at 12 ticks (1 more).

#5 ES Entry: 20:17 Long at 2048.50 SL=8, TP=12
Exit: 21:01 at 2050.50: -2P

Stoch. dropped below 80, but DMI didn't match the signal. Still entered, and while it started in the right direction, ended up going up again.

#6 ES Entry: 21:12 Long at 2050.50 SL=8, TP=12, TS=(8,4)
Exit: 22:00 at 2047.50: +3P
