Hi,

I´am starting this thread because I feel the need to warn people for the following member MFBREAKOUT.
This member is ´´journaling´´ his trades here on futures.io (formerly BMT) now for a while, first he did it in the elite section and no he is doing it on the free section making me a little suspicious about what he wants from this, I think just free publicity for the near future.
His so called journal is full of edited posts and he acts like he is GOD. I have seen posts from him saying I´am short and all of a suden market goes up and he edited the post by saying added to long position. Every move in the market he is in too the tick. He posts screen shots from positions that he has but remember every position that is open is unrealized money.
If you ask him about an account performance he screams at you: YOU HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH MY ACCOUNT, but why is he posting screen shots of open positions then?
All those youtube videos? what do they have to do with trading?

Now he is talking about 150 tick stop loses and then I saw some members trying to do the same, trading with 150 tick stop loses, in my opinion the same thing as trading without a stop loss if your average trade is about 30-40 ticks. So I felled the need to ask him about it and warn the members that are reading his thread.

Outcome of this: just put jsengxx on the starters ignore list and then continue saying nonsense about me without me giving a change to react, so MFBREAKOUT is synonym to COWARD.

Be aware of this member!

I´am going to use this thread to post some screen shots from his thread where he initially is posting that he is taking a position and later edit the post and then you can read a different story.

I'm not taking a side on the authenticity of any specific member's posts but I will say that in my opinion your efffort would be better used building up rather than tearing down. It might be beneficial from time to time to ask specific questions concerning areas where you see a potential problem....most of the time the response or lack there of sheds all the needed light on the issue. A thread for the specific purpose of taking down another member is a non-starter and not really your responsibility. @Big Mike adjudicates things pretty well. This road will likely lead to you undermining yourself and losing privliges here...please reconsider.

From the reactions I have in my In Box messages, I´am not the only one having concerns about this subject.
I think all this behavior is giving this website a bad reputation, and that is in my opinion very bad because there are indeed very good members around here.

Banning people just because they want a better website is wrong.

If people are coming here to this website it is because they want help and not misleading information.

not your perview and not an acceptable method. I can see that you are always right, know everything and need the last word all traits that will hurt your trading and your beneficial longevity in public discourse. Do what you want man, and best of luck to you.

Wldman tried.

This is rubbish. It simply solves nothing. If you are completely convinced then wouldn't you approach Big Mike privately? Creating a thread like this just makes you look like a troll. No offense.

I agree with the OP. We have several threads here that are comical, yet potentially misleading to new traders. Anyone who is following a thread to find potential trades is on the wrong path. If you're following a thread to learn a methodology or gain some insight into the market you trade, that is more reasonable. You will find that these misguided threads either offer no methodology OR provide dozens of methods - one of which is sure to work in a given situation. In general, they are a waste of bandwidth other than to stroke the posters ego. Due to the nature of such threads, I seriously doubt that @Big Mike reads them.

everything. It may take some time but he does get to it.

At some point the ultimate responsibility past that of the person making a post, it is up to the reader to make a judgement. If you don't like or agree or believe the content of a thread, avoid that thread...simple. But it is folks that want to be right that find a way and the time to get in a dust up over it.

If you think soemthing is horse$h!t, don't step in it. Likewise, don't tread in the dark where the horses have been.

Okay Dan, thanks for the great advice. To continue with your analogy, if we're going to be walking in the barn, let's put the horses outside - then we can tread with no fear of stepping in something unsavory.

Banning people just because they want a better website is wrong.

You are being banned because of your attitude and your failure to follow futures.io (formerly BMT) rules, not because you want a better website. The ban will be temporary for 90 days, at this point. If you continue this behavior upon returning, it will be permanent.

You continue to "stir the pot" instead of simply placing mfbreakout on ignore like the rest of us do.

This thread is now closed.
