not sure what you mean - regardless of the instrument, the things you should be looking at remain constant. Instrument is just a name attached to a chart...

I am a newbie, and I want to journal my progress on the ZB, but the journals I have seen are very complicated for someone new. Can anyone recommend a journal format or template that is simple can be scaled up as i become more comfortable with trading?

If you haven't gotten one by now.
This is what I use.

Also, program into cell phone Broker 1-800 # along with account #.
Just in case your internet connection gets cut.
