markets been awesome lately...volatility gives opportunity and also reflections to fine tune setups.

not in front of desk at all...since last 2 weeks. should be a wild month...but maybe bull still not dead

anyways on SIM...so no big shakes.....other than if get screen time...can get stuff setup. ability to determine OF/Liquidity is what probably will keep me alive and in the right direction to substantiate or hold a pos. It's not about being correct...but being able to print $s.

todays been awesome...more than +12 on SIM,,,but thats fine as hell. still prob around 3 months from going live. Its taken sometime and will take some more. but really grateful to all who have played a part in this journey and continuously offer support.

still working on few things on ES. But have also a eye on longterm.... as that is a lil easier for me and already have quite a few things going on that front.

still looking to get in from a longer timeframe...but waiting a bit as need to rearrange some stuff and still eyeing my momentum selections..maybe not the best decision but there is always a r/r. this is just as a quick ref for me. models and stuff takes time to form and is not a blind hit/miss. Atleast i need additional confirmations and levels for my momentum selection to see if valid.

was talking to a friend the other day....and thought would post here for easy ref for myself a quick handy of 2011 where we really corrected...rather than 2010 since the 09 runup. the credit for this goes to Chris Perruna https://twitter.com/cperruna who openly shares how this is created from a NH-NL perspective. I just added to the same and also gave a volume reference. Its is one of the guide's to me but i also follow other stuff from a longterm perspective.

thought it maybe good to make a post here. Not a reference to any other post anywhere.

Guys am on SIM for ES. i think have made it clear. There was a reason to be on SIM though. Long terms is a different thing where may get in as mentioned earlier but got out the only pos held when we were almost at highs. ES is my passion however which has taken its pound due to bad habits.

but i dont know...if people know. Being on SIM on Tradestation is expensive. Its not a freebie like many other platforms.
So if you are on SIM for ex:- 1 or 2 yrs with Radarscreen and the works in terms of data its not a small package or free.

Also have other funded accounts....& going into a Ninja environment which am on SIM currently as can see OF better there...and active trades will be there in next 2 odd months.

anyways i think many courses are good....but it depends on the trader and what you know.....& what is the expectation.

i have doubled or close to doubled my acct many times...with or without a course.

But a bad habit kept me away for a time and hence on SIM. have walked away with 10+ contracts on a day when ES turned down 30-50+pts. That hurts and not sure if folks have experienced it but that's not how trades are supposed to be. Only reason to post is stop running from course to course or vendor to vendor. Many of the stuff and good traders are there if you look around a lil. try and formulate your views thats the only thing that will help. also that you may need to spend time.

Have also on 2-3 other occasions added massively to a losing pos. Well no course can teach you discipline if you are not disciplined. If a course would have promised me 50k per yr..... i will drop a 100k on its lap. If you expect a course to start printing $s for you..well you are mistaken. what it might do is give you a blueprint if you dont know much.....or be a guide. But the word Guide is what it means......a guide. you still walk the path alone.

anyways only reason i accept private messages is i wish to have that channel of communication and at times you come across very good people.

will be mostly on chat don't see a reason to journal currently...... & cheers and best to all and me for the upcoming trades

cheers
s

the next Dn wave is going to be difficult to catch upto. need to be careful not on SIM now.

anyways the day today in retrospect seems to have drawn in good selling.

However currently not sure on OVN sells....but did not seem to catch drift of large sells EOD. so premarket will dictate. however similar looking days were in march of this year. Where next day EOD turned a range or higher. premarket will tell direction. there seems to be a small sell at Market open...& maybe to catch people short unless they pile on.

the market still wants to go higher.... but she is dangerous is what i can see for position trading. if in for Day trades is good. is everything hunky dory....guess thats the way it seems. there should be gives on both ends of 200DMA unless she's on a north bound train.

definitely tick is of concern....but argument can also be made of a bullish stance.

like the way correlation is. dont like it totally correlated which typically happens on strong sell days or crashes

still looking for a position in equities and not sure if can get it in 2015. but getting into them now is not in my interest. if it does not come so be it. currently out of all long pos. dont want added tension for 10% move.

anyways for me it's try and mitigate risk probably which is contrary to trading. which means not being able to capture larger moves. well cant have it both ways.

10-28 is busy....so may not get to take a pos. will see if pos at market open can be made.

data can change anytime...and premarket will dictate. currently leaning on the S side. however if she gets far below 62s before market open will evaluate. actually both short and long seem to be at play. open to both possibilities

however looking at some volume info....there can also be a GU. Though will be surprized if that happens. Am looking at some Tape readings which are darn new.....and it will take me time and period of tests to be deterministic. Hence an open mind while i check these..but current analysis shows a S.

Need to see how they execute the MOO orders. anyways am in typically for quick scalps....so doesnt really matter on long term perspective....but a perspective helps me which can hopefully change in a heartbeat.

the 80s are an imp level...no doubt the market removed shorts from around there. however is she wants to head higher....she can do so with a GU....or needs to work her way thru this and overheads. the lower she goes...the easier for her to spring higher.
