Do you manually draw the SR lines on
PNF chart?
For ES... I use 5min, 1 = Box 3 = Reversal setup
Thx for kind words
Have you been able to get OFA to load? I could/can assist if need be...
Keep posting ...
Mike S.
Mike,
The setting for the point and figure is 3 min for base period value, 2 for box size, and 3 for reversals.
The support and resistance lines are automated lines, the indicator is called SwingRaysV1. Available in the indicator download section. I find it usefull.
I have not been able to get the OFA to work .(I have the free version).
Thanks for posting your updates

Mike,
Are you using the free OFA or you purchased the software? If you did purchase, did you take any lessons / mentoring?
I find that looking at all those numbers makes me dizzy, or shall I say confused ?

Made the plunge and purchased base OFA + VCA.
There's plenty of free webinar recordings off member site / uTube channel to get up to speed
on methodology.
In their Trader Lounge, they offer a FREE daily analysis of ES + 6E markets using OFA.
Great forum to ask questions and follow a successful trader and see what they see and start
developing you own style.
As far as following the Delta numbers... much easier on the eyes than watching Time and Sales on mkt tape ....

1 and done for Friday!!!
Waited patiently to be in sync with the Order Flow , following the vol cluster, to support entry.
Strong support area from 1945.50 - 1944.25, notated by blu rectangle.
Put limit order at top of that range 1945.50 and got my 4tix!!!
Being its Friday and settlement hasn't been breach as of yet, 1948.75 [yesterday], I felt to shut down...
enjoy the day and study hard over weekend to do it again next week...

Took an additional trade as price was challenging yesterday's settlement price of 1948.75.
Positioned my entry at a vol cluster, see structure chart - blu squares, at the 1948.75/1949 area
Got my 2nd 4tix scalp for day!!!

Patience on ES today as it ground up over resistance areas of 1953.75 area
Waited for the ask print to tell me to enter around 1955.
Wanted to go for more but sticking to my 4tix scalp

Waited patiently to base towards 1950.50 area.
New buy vol cluster taking out prior sell vol @ 1952.50
I did get in 1 bar early. Took 6tix of heat.
Better entry would have been on the 11:09am candle...

Should have been a nice 1 and done!!!
Need to fly to client site.

1 for 3 today....
Under normal conditions, that would stink!!!
Today I was only down 1 Net tix....
The key for my 2 first losses was I was not in sync with the Volume Clusters on both 12/4 structure chart and the 8/4 chart.
Even though it was not a good day for me, I was still pleased with the fact of correcting bad habits.
Like the other day I took a trade as a 'break out' that totally stopped me out.
So the lessons for me here today is BE IN SYNC WITH THE VCA on both the 12/4 structure chart and the 8/4 OFA trade chart.
Do 't go nuts over too many Decision point lines. Too many will give you trading paralysis.
Mark the settlement and plot +/-10 points from there for targets...
Every day keep learning and being optimistic!!!

2 for 2 today for 7tix.
Original target was at settlement price of 1957.50.
But due to me learning the OFA way and TRUSTNG the flow, I took early scalp profits.
Hey still made a nice sum for day but can do BETTER!!!
Always look to improve.
Was in sync with VCA on both structure charts [ 6/4 and 12/4 ] which helps...
Enjoy your weekend and hit em hard next week!!!

Had to show this setup.
Figures I shutdown prior to this.
Wanted to show setup for learning!!!!!
This is exactly what I'm looking for.
Patience and wait for price to come back to you at your DP area, which was the Settlement price 1957.50
See how the VCA was aligned underneath you for small risk on this trade....
Note to self.....
Burn this image in your mind of what to try to take!!!
Thank you

2 Trade setups and in sync with Volume Cluster Analysis [VCA]
From what I'm finding, a 5tix risk seems like a nice risk level for me while still scalping for 4tix
I feel over time my Consistent Profitability [CP] will be north of 70%
1st Trade: price rising above Globex Hi. VCA shift above DP - Globex hi. Entry @ 1976.50
2nd Trade: price Pullback . VCA shift. Entered when Buyers taking control. Target = Globex Hi, Which hit to the tix. Entry @ 1973.50

Wanted to post GC trades from Thursday, 2/20/2014...
3 qualified trades, even though there were 2 nice ABC's longs but with RED 50MA couldn't take....
The 3rd trade, which was loser, was in
chop area. Patiently waited for Pwr entry into the 15MA.
Didn't matter. In these cases, could have limited loss give the lack of follow thru. Again will continue
to work on qualifying entries an/or limit 10tix loss when trade falls apart...
Mike S
when you entered the trade I don't believe you were in chop. Chop occurred at the close of the next candle
Do you concur?

Hi Mike
Do you always trade into
pivots ?
Owen...
on most 2/3 line break trades, they are good momentum trades that typically break thru pivots.
Besides, only going for 5tix scalps .
The day you referenced was still up net 6 tix!!!

Thx for following my thread.
I've started studying Order Flow + Volume/Mkt Pro for consistent profitability.
If you have RLT questions, I'm still able to address and assist if need be.
Just a personal decision to change directions.

Even better....
They allow FREE use of a lite version and access to over a dozen webinar recordings in Public access area on

This way you can make a better informed decision if it's the right fit.
In addition, they currently offer FREE daily analysis to ES and 6E markets on what to look for in preparing for your trading day in the Traders Lounge on site.

Felt very much in control, which is not normal. But learning to keep a level head and not rush into trades!!!
Banked 4 + 3 tix.
The reason for cutting short last entry was news release was shortly coming out and it initially stopped @ 4tix, so cut it short for 3….
1st Trade: Short 9:33am DP area was holding @ 1922.50 area. Went short following the order flow @ 1921.50
2nd Trade: Long 9:56am Buy imbalance above prior weakness 1928 area. Went long @ 1928.25 for 3tix
Have a great weekend!!
Keep learning!!!

2 for 3 today.
Able to start stretching out profits to 8tix.
But still feel going for 4/5 tix is my norm.
Trying to use VP [Vol Profile] to define potential target areas
Enter around LVA and target HVA.
The other key is having MUCH SMALLER RISKS from what I’ve had in past.
Now I’m averaging 4/5 tix, which is a solid half of what I’ve been doing!!!
Keep risks small!!!
Always learning!!!

how do you know your trades work as well using a real $ account? The way u testing, it has always been sim... try use real $ and we will know how good the system really is. at the very least, you are not testing in the last couple of month for nothing.

Another tough day for me.. 3 for 6 or 50%!!!
But on the bright side, keeping risks small, was able to get my 8tix!!
Net after commissions $700
I’m starting to get the hang of trading around LVA’s based off my composite dating back to 6/9
See the order flow on how it reacts.
I still need to execute better for a few trades I lost would have been 4/5 tix scalp winners by improving
My entry!!!
Hey, keep learning and always improve!!!

Waited patiently with entering above LVA and seeing strong ASK print / imbalance.
Enjoy and let me know your thoughts on the vid.
I will start to give audio commentary as time goes on.
Thank you
Mike S
PS: Here's ES Composite chart I used for LVA plotting.
Going back to early June 2014

Now I'm focusing on P+V Zone Trades...
4 for 7 today with several MISSED WINNING setups!!!
Still trying to buy-in 100% on setup patterns!!!
Still moderate positive day after commissions…

Mike glad to see you are back. Are you still using the OFA foot print and volume profile combination ? What are the p+v zones how do you trade them?

7 trades
4 - W
2 - L
1 – BE
Last loser was counter!!! Need to be watchful there!!!!
Pleased with day and getting used to 610tix chart
Still looking for ‘CAPPING’ – 0 print to show Buyers/Sellers are cut-off at certain SR levels [Welly Style]
Sometime capping disappears, that why I try to print screen around trade executions as possible.

Still using OFA to spot weakness / SR levels...
Just on another screen.
I like NOFT for I can set up on ANY chart, not just OFA. Give me more flexibility.
P = Peak trades... take below 21EMA
V = Valley trades... take above 21EMA
Just a formation I'm looking at but truly the Welly trades is what I'm focusing on now

Hi Mike
I like the horizontal lines. makes more sense than the channel lines. The markets do not see channels. I agree with you The NOFT is more flexible. Good work.

Today SHOULD HAVE been a winning Day!!!
As you can see it wasn’t...
Lots of learning on chart and mapped out other areas that should have been traded
And being better in sync with Price Action .
Again, when one tries to implement another strategy to the mix… mixed results most likely occurs!!!
I’m liking how I’m engaging the trades, just need more LIVE screen time to get it right.
I’m happy with things and will improve soon!!!
Thank you

1 and done this morning.
Market slow and need to get my day on.
Will trade this week before starting next TST Combine.
Would like a few winning dayz!!!
Basic pull back to the 21 EMA for a WSR [Welly Support/Resistance] Trade
Showed Mkt. Delta chart and seeing 'CAPPING' [sellers were cutoff] to validate trade on 3rd touch.

2 and done for day.
2nd Trade took 2tix, half profit, for I had to get going and trade took long time
6 tix is still nice income
Focusing on trade locations to EMA and Trend lines.
Trade near them and nice results!!!
Stray from them and nixed results.
Location... Location... Location...
Plus a rarity for me drawing trend lines/channels.
They do help in the long run...

Taking a new direction with my trading.
Haven’t been to in sync lately and need to find my way….
Giving LandShark Analytics a shot….
So far, looking at market completely different…
Here’s a screenshot of my 1 trade short from an exhaustive area.
Price did overshoot, but still was able to ride it out.
The BEST trade should have been long earlier @ 2038 area around 6am EDT
I’m starting to grasp their methodology and excited to see where this takes me

Had a GAP Fill short on CL after Pit open.
CL was weak after Pit open and logical target was filling GAP at 63.02 area…
Target per day for now for me is $100

Are you still using the trading setups mentioned in the start of this thread i.e using RLT indicators?
If so how are the results off late.
Thanks
