After 28 days as a lurker here I decided to make my first post. I couldn’t think of a better place to do so than to start my own journal.

Where to start?

Ah yes this is a trading forum so let me talk about my trades.. oh wait… I haven’t made a single one. In fact, I’m not even 100% sure what it means to be a trader. I stumbled onto this site about a month ago and after a few days of reading and being utterly confused about everything I found a great post about beginners and where to start. A web site was linked, Learn to Trade Forex and Other Markets | InformedTrades, and I “think” it may be an excellent place to start my journey. Time will tell I suppose.

So in the spirit of holding myself accountable for actually doing my homework I’ve chosen to start journaling here.

If anyone cares here is some background on me. I’m currently employed as a deputy sheriff and play as a weekend warrior for the Wyoming guard I’ve also spent a few years as an active duty Marine. In between my active duty and sheriff’s position I did some small time real estate house flipping that worked out fairly well up to about mid 2009.

Hobbies include: fitness, nutrition, video games, scuba (hard to do in Wyoming) and of course family. I’d love to have more time for all of them but my work schedule is a bit odd.

Anyways, off to shovel some snow then go to bed (work midnight shift).

Hello and welcome to nexusfi.com (formerly BMT) !

To start your own journal is always a great idea if you already trade 'something'

IMO, an even better idea to get many valuable basics of trading would be to take a closer look here:

And, btw....do you really have snow in Wyoming yet ??
