Hi Paris, what are your commission costs for dax and cl please?

CL is $5.02 roundtrip.
Dax is $3.62

Dax is a great deal. It's highly leveraged and the commissions are lower.

If I include commissions the results are not so good. I need to think on that.

i've studied some of my trades, I often get out too soon on the 3rd contract.

for dax 3 contracts round trip @ 3.82 each = $11.46.
1 tick on dax = $17

so just one more tick on the dax will cover my commissions.

oil is a bit more: $15.06 1 tick = $10 so 1.5 ticks needed

so my goal for the next few days:

- take more trades
- don't get out of 3rd contract too early - get that extra 1-1.5 ticks to pay commissions

I'm also keeping in mind the goal of going for 10,20,30 but that's for a bit later..

I love this indicator. I have it on my Market Delta charts. I smooth it with a 3 (histogram) and 5 (bars) moving average.

I'm testing out the constant volume charts. On my tradestation cycle charts I have tick charts. still undecided but there isn't that much difference.

Nice job Michael.

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.

Some spoofing going on in the dax. pretty funny to watch it. the two images were taken about 1 minute apart but the market was totally dead and very few contracts were trading between the two.

price eventually did breakout to the upside.

I'm still learning how to read this stuff on the DOM, if you have any experiences here please share.

Too strange. I've never seen the dax that slow. I'm going to stop for a while..
