Opened an account with FXCM to learn forex trading. So far, very strange platform on MT4, and customer support is very questionable. They will answer the phone, but not know how to do much. I ask questions, they do not know answers. I chat with tech support, they say something can't be done, meanwhile I located on their site how to do it. Promised a response back, then nothing. Even posted here in two threads, have not been answered in either yet.
Many concerns with them already, two days in.

I'm sorry that you haven't yet received responses to the tech questions you posed to our customer support team. There are literally probably 20 emails. Today I got a little further, spoke with "L Irvine" (I did not write it down but sent emails) He was a lot more helpful than anyone else so far, and we have a plan that we will follow up with on Monday. if that falls apart I'll let you know.
I did finally get live on MT4, just would really prefer to keep Sierra Chart. I am on platform number 4, and am still madly in love with SC. I selected FXCM out of available options for Sierra Chart. Made my decision after reading their Help section about it.
