Upon completion of the first two 30-minute brackets, here they come the special reference points:
Initial Balance (IB): 1161.75 - 1170.75 (9 points) VAH as at 10:35 am: 1169.25 - 1166.25 - 1164.25
VPOCs: 1153 (1164.50 was touched) and 1192.50
Open: 1166.50
It has been trading within previous day's Value Area for the first hour (with minor breakout and breakdown). My expectation: It will trade within today's IB unless it breaks up or down with strong buying/selling initiative. Like what happened this week and extended the daily range to 15 points. Will see what Mr Market wants.
Thanks Mike! U can count on me to be a well-disciplined trader. No more trades not even with Bracket Trader. I believe I am quite familiar with its basic Buy/Sell orders and can place live trades efficiently when the time comes!

Glad you are getting to grips with it, Beth. If only IB's book trader was as simple and effective. I prefer it to NT's dom and if you want to increase the visual size of the ladder you can make the icons larger in Windows user ease of access which will 'blow everything up' (less strain on my eyes!). It's great for scalping eur/ usd with IB as you can join the bid/ offer and get a better fill and taking a few pips in a momentum trade is child's play. Enjoy!

I do not have any trading experiences or knowledge on EUR/USD. You made it sound soooooooooo easy LOL! Do you have a thread demonstrating how you trade this pair. I love to make a few pips haha (not sure what they are .. oooo ).

While waiting for the washer to finish, I practised my PA labelling skill on the enclosed. It's a historical chart (not market replay) and quite challenging for me. Having said that, the good news is: I started to appreciate its simplicity.
