it means to be a triple MA studies? otherwise you can not?
Sierra do not have any studie with 2 avg so I had to use the triple one. The avg must be in the same study.

You can do as you please. For the clouds you only need 2 indicators. The reason I have that many indicators on the chart is that I need them in the spreadsheet.

Well the ATM charts on masood's tread looks great and I decide to test them in Sierra. The auto trading is not the correct if you look at masoods chart's. Mine are only simple ZLR from the CCI. The trades are only sim trades as this is all new to me. I did the auto for fun as I like to have a try with the spreadsheet. I don't think it will work to take ever ZLR blindly. To get a day trading system to work over time is very hard. I will continue my work with the auto system and time will tell. I got my hands on a StepMa indicator today like the one in masood's charts and see if it will be of any use for the auto system. But the charts seems ok to pick trades manually and then I start trading these chart's live and I like the setup I will turn the auto on so it can handle the trades for me. So we could call it a semi auto trading system so far.

Nice chart on the CL after the European open. I have change the background colororing so its darkgreen then StepMa is in up mode and darkred in down mode. The StepMa seems to act as support and resistance . Regards Outlander

Made some changes to the auto trading. The trend is set på the StepMa. Alse added buy and sell test of the StepMa and the W and M signals from masoods charts. I am not sure if I got them right. The Renko settings are 4-2-2.

@Outlander
something that we have and continue to do for our fellows are to post both the indicator panel to show what is used, and perhaps a template
what happens with a template in Ninja is,
if all the initial indicators used are not present before they are used or called upon, the template deletes all references to them, so this is a destructive process, and I will refer this issue to Ninja to repair
creating an export package of the indicators used is a simpler way to share, then all that need be posted are the package and then the template
reason I am explaining this to you and to others by extension is often times we waist so much effort and time to replicate or catch up with the displayed results and charts to the point where its no longer worth it and we give up in favor of getting back to making a living trading
now the upside to you directly and any other poster, is through use, the other members will be generous as to share in like kind and improve your results and outlook, which would not otherwise happen
good trading to you and all!

I do not know anything about Ninja so I can be to no help in matters regarding Ninja. I had Tradestation in the past but now I only use Sierra. I will answer questions about my chart and the indicators I use. All except the StepMa are included in Sierra. The charts seems ok for manually trading if the used in a trending market. In a choppy market not so god. You have to bear with me because I am from Sweden so my English is poor. My intention with my tread is the use of Renko bars. So ask me questions and feel free to post you own chart's in my tread.

your english sound like you live in Brooklyn, NY!
anyways, too many of us presume Ninja as the defacto software standard, although it is fraught with problems, heavy computer systems demands and troublesome times, more often than not.
let's start with this,
what is the smallest interval on the Renkos that you are successful with timing trades entry?
I have noticed that a number of vendors, have chosen to use Renko and modified or hybrid Renko, but at their smallest intervals, almost violating the concept of renko and reducing it to the equivalent of a 3min - 5min time based chart

My basic settings are these checked: fill session gap , new bar when exceeded, new bar at session start and load weekend data. the session is 24 hours. For the Bund and currency 3-2-2 CL NG and NQ 5-2-2. DAX might need 6-2-2 or 7-2-2.
But in a choppy market you have to careful. Renko seems to work best in trending futures. My entries are with stop orders . They are placed at the price there the new bars begins in the direction of the trade. Stop a couple of ticks below/above the reversal bar.

I use Sierra and all indicators I use except StepMa are standard indicators in Sierra. The settings I use are ruffly the same as in this tread. https://futures.io/elite-trading-journals/30600-alpha-trading-method-ninjatrader-advanced-trade-management-jdneeman.html
The spreadsheet is not yet ready for auto trading and no sense post it. I have made some changes to my chart but not yet postes the new version. My health problem has been worse and that is the reason for not posting lately. Regards Outlander

Some minor changes. Added VWAP and change some of the code for the auto trading. Works ok as semi auto trading.

It seems to me that the system works well in a volatile instrument like the DAX. Regards Outlander

How do you deside what FLEXRENO setting to use ?
Once you had 8-3-1
Now you have 6-3-1

I have done some back testing and it seems to me that 6-3-1 would be "the best" but the difference between 8-3-1 and 6-3-1 is not so much.

Hi Outlander
Do you have any days where you made a loss?, seems like you have found a systems that works all the time.
This version has been running for almost a month and only a few loosing days, but some days starts with a quite large draw down but in the end turned in to profit. I have not saved the test data for the past. The reason was that I thought it was no good. My health is poor at the moment so I am not fit for trading. My pain killers make me dizzy. But I believe that the system is ok for semi auto trading. I will have a try if I get better.
Regards Outlander

backtest is not good, it is not realistic ... because no slipage etc ... should autotrade work in the real trade,, of course sim acc testing ... many have worked backtest back one month and it was great, but when they put autotrade,, everything was a disaster,, and completely different ...

I agree about back testing . Most of my testing are in sim mode and only to see witch one of the signals are the "best".
My postings are mostly for fun and to create a debate how to use Renko bars. Not so much response so far but that might have to do with not that many use Renko bars.

SIM mode is ok ... should auto trade left running in the trading time and not backtest .... otherwise great if you opened the topic because I'm only using Renko bars ... so just continue, I'll be happy to participate in this

Well I am only using the spreadsheet in Sierra but you can do a lot with this. I am not a expert, I am just a simple farmer. You can contact me but I can not give you any promise that I can do what you want. Regards Outlander
